Apollo could feel Endymion's tension as if it was tangible in the air around them and knew he was the cause of it. But he also knew there was nothing he could do about it. He felt the urge to give Endymion a massage, to calm him down. But then he rethought himself, not knowing if that would make things even more strained between them. He finally just whispers, "Is there anything I can do for you right now...? If you want to take a power nap for an hour or so, that would be ok... You're not going to get far in your training like this and I know better than to push you."

"Yes..." The word came out in a sigh, thought he didn't intend it to. Endymion raised his head to look at Apollo. "A nap would be nice." Trying to put his mind on the task ahead, Dymion promised himself that after Athena's test he would make it up to Apollo, beg for forgiveness and hope that the Sun-god still loved him. "Apollo......I'm sorry about before... there was something that I....I..." he groped for words, failing miserably, he slowly stood up. "........Never mind Apollo...." he started heading back towards the camp. Sleep seemed very welcome at the moment.

Apollo stood, watching Endymion for a second or two, trying to understand what Endymion was saying. he finally calls to him when he's not too far away, "Dymion...." He smiles a little, "Whatever it is you are apologizing about, don't worry about it. You've got a big task ahead of you so I want to be the last thing on your mind... Go get some rest." He gathers up their coats and such before heading back to camp as well. He too was looking forward to a nap. Sleep would give him enough energy to heal himself before he trained Endymion again. And also, everythng that had happened in the last day. He sighs. It was snowing out, like he had predicted, but it wasn't bad at all, not blizzard. It was simply big fat snowflakes calmly falling, incessant but beautiful. He makes it back to camp and wraps a bandages around his still wounded arm and side, just to make sure they wouldn't get infected before grabbing his sleeping bag and carrying it to the closest tent.

Although he was tired, he didn't head back to the tents. Endmyion continued walking on towards the river beyond. The sound of running water was soothing to him. Diana's hot spring had caused a thick frost to form on the surrounding rocks and trees, painting them a glorious white. The sunset leaving the moon peeking behind clouds. Snowflakes fell, Endymion tilted his face up, feeling them melt on his skin leaving a bit of coldness that was welcomed. Spreading his hands out he felt more snowflakes falling on his skin, he didn't shiver, the cold wasn't effecting him that much, but the cold did lull his already tired mind. He closed his eyes, feeling a gentle sleep overwhelm him. He slept there, still standing, hands outstretched, in a world of of soft white. A peaceful smile on his exquisite lips

Apollo only worried for a few seconds as he watches Endymion walk past the camp, but saw he was heading towards the river. he smiles slightly, knowing Endymion would find comfort in solitude and knew spells to keep himself warm. He lays his sleeping bag in the empty tent and wanders over to the other tent simply to inform Adel that they were back to rest for an hour or so, just to make sure the boy wouldn;t be worried. He then trudges, tired but not hopeless, back to his tent, falling asleep the second he was coccooned in the sleeping bag.

Adel gave Apollo a tensive smile, he had seen Endymion walking away and he was worried. But Apollo's manner suggested nothing wrong. So, gathering up the black cat in his arms he cooked himself supper and wrapped himself in another layer of blankets to keep warm. The mortal boy looked up in wounder at the snowfall. Blinking, he saw one of the stars appear to slowly drift down towards the earth. His bright blue eyes followed it curious as the small point of starlight drifted over their camp and headed towards the river. Standing up, Adel tried to see where it landed, he felt the urge to go and resisted knowing that it woudl be dangerous for him go alone.

Apollo slept for a little over two hours and woke feeling slightly groggy, but refreshed compared to earlier. He sits before the fire, beginning to heal his wounds with his newfound energy when the stars suddenly caught his eye. He blinks, staring to where a star seemed to have sank andwas casting light near the river. He jumps to his feet, realizing that Adel had also noticed this. He looks to Adel sadly and says in a soft, but hurried voice, "Stay here for now... If something's wrong, I don't want you to get hurt... I'll come get you if everything is ok..." With that, he turns, making his way to the river and getting there quicker than he would have ever thought possible.

A beautiful God sat in the snow, on his lap was the head of Endmyion. The God was gently stroking the young God's silken tresses, this god's long auburn hair was nearly the match of Endymion's, the youth was sleeping soundly unaware. Hearing the slight crunch of the snow underneath Apollo's feet, Dionysus turned his head to smile at the sun-god. "He really is beautiful Apollo...." he said mentally, not wanting to wake Endymion, still stoking the soft raven hair. "...Eros had told me about him and I couldn't resist seeing for myself....Oh stars above...he takes my very breath away." Dionysus dropped his gaze to the peaceful face. "I want him.... I want him to be my Eromenos."

((lmao, holy s**t... I was seriously looking up pederasty a few nights ago, but I had never seen the term "Eromenos" mentioned before, so I'm glad I looked it up and found out the link))
Apollo's once calm, hopeful face was now etched with a mixture of emotions. At first there was anger, but he quickly reminded himself that anger would get him nowhere. He couldn't speak for Endymion, especially when he had pushed Apollo away before when they were training. There was also deep, apparent hurt. He and Dionysus had never been extremely close, perse, but there had never been animosity between them. Did Dionysus know about Apollo's love for Endymion? Had Eros told him that much? Another emotion was exhaustion, which overwhelmingly prevailed. He sinks to his knees in the now, a yard or so from them and to the side, in view. He wondered vaguely if he would ever feel Endymion's lips against his own again or if he would fall for Dionysus instead. He swallows hard against the hopelessness and sobs that were building mutually in his throat. He finally lifts his eyes to Dionysus, "My friend... I love Endymion with all of my heart, but he has fallen out of love with me before now, even if it was at Eros' arrow... I cannot speak for him, and I know this... But I will answer you truthfully, he will have to decide for himself... If you want him enough to try to court him from me, then I cannot stop you from doing so and I know trying would only create more tension... He is perfection, the loveliest being I have ever set my eyes upon and I worship him, knowing that I am truly blessed to have him even look in my direction... Should you woo him, Dionysus, then know that I will woo him as well... But ultimately, it will always be his decision. I only ask one thing: for his sake, please leave him be for a day. He is stressed enough as a new god and will be facing Athena's tests tomorrow to prove his godhood and decide his fate. As fond as I am of you, Dionysus, should you bother him before then, I will not hesitate to fight you; not for his love but for his safety. He needs tomorrow to train and prepare and he has been emotionally burdened enough for the past three days... But otherwise" Apollo sighs and looks back to the snow, "There's nothing I can do to stop you except ask you to spare my own heart as much as possible... You may wish him as your Eromenos, Dionysus, but I intend for him to be my only, my heart, my love, and my soul... It's more than 'philia' or 'storge'... what I have for him is 'eros'... 'erotas'... But try as you might, Dionysus... Heavens above know I can't stop you... But please... do leave him be for tomorrow and I will be true to my word and leave him be as well."

(( Thank you very much, I had to go do some reading up on the subject.))
Dionysus listened with a sympathetic smile. " Yes, Apollo I will leave him be. I will be watching you both. This boy will be allowed to make his decision free from worry and our influence." His hands stopped, tangled in Dymion's hair. "But Know this Apollo, Since he had pushed you away, you cannot pursue him either until After Athena's testing...I will be watching you very closely. Should he chose you over me, I cannot do anything more then admire him. And should he chose me I will be kind and not express my desires in front of you.....Such perfection... Dionysus turned his green eyes down at the youth in his lap He raised his hand gently stroked Endymion's face Such perfection deserves the best..."
At the light touch Endymion stirred. "Apollo?" he opened his eye and found himself staring into jade green eyes. Startled he sat up and backed away from the stranger. Kicking up snow in his fright. Dionysus gave the young god and amused smile. "Hello Endmyion, My name is Dionysus, I wanted to introduce myself before you've taken Athena's tests." Endymion took in the details, his eye trailing over the god's face. it was perfect too, Endymion felt a flush of envy at that handsome face. Noticing his lack of real clothing, his face flushed. This new arrival was simply dressed in a silk robe, as if he hadn't brothered to dress properly in his haste from the bedroom. the robe was open slightly, hinting at the perfection of his leanly built body underneath. Dionysus stood, softening his gaze, "I will be cheering you on during the test and praying for your success Endmyion." "........" the young god said nothing, he was still somewhat unnerved and felt uncomfortably drawn to his God. He nodded and stood up, only now noticing Apollo kneeling in the snow nearby.

Apollo cringes slightly and nods, for his own sake as much as Dionysus'. He was beginning to wonder if it was fated for him never to be happy. He had found love once in a mortal who had fancied him, but never truly loved him, only to watch this mortal be killed out of jealousy and spite. And now... He gazes up to Endymion, even as he sprawled away in the snow, looking very uncomfortable. He would give his eternity for Endymion and wouldn't think twice about giving it up even if Endymion asked for it on a whim. Perhaps Apollo didn't have a perfect face, but he had been blessed with youthful beauty when he was born and had been the symbol of attractive young men as his birthright. He vaguely wonders if he is simply too cold for anyone to ever fall inlove with him. He looks across to Dionysus before glancing back to Endymion. Dionysus only wanted Endymion for his eromenos? HIs face becomes blank, but inside he could feel his anger boiling. He could easily remember all of Dionysus' consorts ranging from Aphrodite, a thought that made him sick, to Ariadne, to Nix, to Althaea.... He stands up, dusting himself off, before smiling. He was angry, but now he had more of a reason to keep Endymion from Dionysus. If Dionysus only wanted an eromenos, the Apollo would make sure he found someone to play his games with somewhere else. "Oh, I'm sorry... Endymion, you probably remember that Dionysus is one of my many siblings. I was just telling him about how you were going to be tested soon... You'll probably be seeing more of him soon... But for now, we should probably get back to training, you need every moment you can get."

"Uh.....Right." Endmyion hurried to Apollo's side, looking back over his shoulder at Dionysus. The god simply smiled warmly at him, reveling in the youth's innocent curiosity. Dionysus pursed his lips and nodded, green eyes smoldering with interest as he watched Apollo and the young god walk away. Endmyion, distracted for a moment, forgot his feet and trip, stumbling hard into Apollo's shoulder. "Oh.....Sorry." He blushed, and took a step back away from Apollo, feeling embarrassed by his clumsiness. His scalp prickled, running his hands through his hair, he found a small delicate white flower entwined in one lock, It was a flower he'd never seen before the center of the petals glowed faintly, and there was a scent that that soothing and caused his mind to wander. Looking back at the river, he saw that Dionysus had gone. The flower was likely not of this world.

Apollo blinks, surprised when he felt Endymion stumble into him and only touches the beautiful young god to straighten him to his feet, watching Endymion step away quickly. Did Dionysus really have such an extreme effect on Endymion. Apollo had once lusted after Dionysus himself, but it hadn't been obsessive or a long-term cruch by any means. He sees Endymion pluck the flower from his hair and gazes off in the distance in front of them. He didn't know if Dionysus would be angry if Apollo told Dymion about his plans, so he didn't bring it up. If Apollo was anything, it was true to his own words. He would let Dionysus have his fair chance. He coughs a little, as if trying to break the tension, "You probably need some food before we continue, so we can stop at the camp to eat."

"oh....yeah." Endymion quickly agreed and stepped up his pace. He tucked the flower in his breast pocket. Supper was made, Endymion made sure that he complimented Apollo's cooking, it was even tastier then usual Dymion had second helpings before pulling out the flower again, breathing in it's engaging scent. "Apollo? Why didn't you tell me about the other gods before?" In particular Dionysus, he was curious about him.

Dinner had lightened Apollo's mood considerably. Or maybe it was just the fact that there was nothing he could do about this mess now. All he had a chance to do was woo Endymion back to him and to begin after Athena's test. He glances to Endymion, having just took the last few sips of some hot tea he had made, "Well... You have to remember, when the gods left Olympus, I didn't see them for centuries at a time... We weren't especially all that close after all the drama that took place with Zeus and we were all divided in our opinions, I suppose.... I hadn't even seen them again until you drew them close." He chuckles lightly, "You do seem to be a god-magnet... Let's see, you've lured me, Diana, Athena, Zeus, Aphrodite, Eros, Hermes, and now Dionysus. You have quite a collection..... But I wouldn't have minded telling you... You just never asked, so I figured you weren't too concerned."
