Youkai_of_Jealousy What ever happened to Genji? He's either on the pond that's behind the Hakurei Shrine or in Reimu's stomach. And I'd bet it's the latter.

What? Those sabbat batos...those sab batos. (Sorry stupid joke sweatdrop ) MidBossVyers Now, another ridiculous vampire weakness is running water (we'll skip holy items, and say that they only hurt vampires when thrown at them with force). What the hell is running water!? A river!? Do vampires lack the ability to pilot watercraft or fly (with wings or aircraft)!? What if a vampire goes to an airport? Would being on a flight be the same thing as flying themselves? But enough talk, have at you! ... And your responses. Whether, you believe a certain interpretation of the vampire mythology is better than another is up to you. I am going to side step that argument, though I will take a crack at explaining vampire weaknesses. Here is my theory. From what I can see, it would appear that many of the weaknesses associated with vampires tend to symbolize life. For example to kill a vampire supposedly you are supposed to peirce their heart with something made of wood. Unlike the lifeless metals and minerals which is used as the material to create much of our tools and weapons, wood is from something living. A tree it self can be seen as a symbol of life and growth. The sun also provides us with life, granting warmth, light, etc. So to this undead creature, that which grants us life and comfort has an opposite effect. Water is also a symbol of life. The reason why its running water specifically is because the constant motion and change of rivers and the such probably again is very symbolic of life, while stagnat water lacks this quality and is many times unhealthy to drink. Ofcourse there is one amongst us who may settle this debate. Asuka Hayata Why do people like to depict Rinnosuke as being really tall and muscular, wearing nothing but a fundoshi? That is because he being the only male character (who actually makes an appearance and not merely refrenced to or non-human shaped) can't merely be some guy, he has to be a MAN! A MAN so damn manly, that his testosterone levels alone is enough to balance out the male/female ratio. And only a fundoshi wearing, super masculine, bulging muscular MANnosuke can acclompish being that much MAN! scream ...*Ahem* or something along those lines... Wotan Manasal Youkai_of_Jealousy What ever happened to Genji? He's either on the pond that's behind the Hakurei Shrine or in Reimu's stomach. And I'd bet it's the latter. *Nods* The pond thing is just a cover for the truth.

{Eternally Young Scarlet Moon} Well, I am lord of the night, so please excuse me.______________________________ » » » » †
Even in the pond he's not safe. I'm sure Suika bathes in there a lot (whether Reimu wants her to or not), and seeing that flying turtle probably gives her some ideas. In that case, it wouldn't surprise me if Genji made like a tree and got the hell out of there.

Also, in the Coppola version, anyway, it was actually a metal stake or blade.

Flandre Scarlet "What is going on? a Party?" Yes, Flan-chan. A "grown-ups" party. Now, it's a bit late, isn't it? Go to the kitchen, I'm sure Sakuya can prepare you some chocolate milk or something.

I could've gotten a Reimu plush instead, but I lacked the cash to get both. So i opted for the Klepto Hero.
