Alex politely looks away as the doctor does an ultrasound and an physical check.
Doctor finishes, "Well you were lucky miss. The baby wasn't cut off of it's blood supply and will be fine. Though you should be careful in the future. Oh and are you interested in knowing if it's a boy or girl?"

Anne hugged Will. "You don't have to come in the room." She took his hand and walked to the room. "Just wait here, I'll be right back." Anne smiled and went into the room. "Mother?" Anne placed her hand on her mother's shoulder.
Emily groaned. "What do you want now?" She said slurring her words.
"Ok you're at least alive. Drink some water." Anne handed her a cup with a straw. Emily took a few sips and fell back asleep. Walking back out to Will she sighed. "That went better than I thought. Let's go downstairs." Anne smile came back. She hugged Will and with one arm wrapped around him she walked down with him.

As Cleo walked towards the mansion, she constantly looked behind to see if anyone was following her. There wouldn't actually be anyone anyways, since this place was mostly...quiet. She'd been walking for two days now without food in this new town, having to hide behind bushes to sleep. It was a bit chilly outside, but luckily she had a coat given to her by a very nice bum she'd once spoken to. She had high hopes for that bum. Anyways, she finally saw the entrance beneath all the fog she'd encountered on her way towards the mansion, and made her way to the entrance.

Anne stopped midway on the stairs. She turned around and hugged Will. "I know. Trust is hard for me too," Tears came to her eyes. "But then I met you. And I instantly knew you were different from any other man I've known. Thank you," A small soft laugh came out of her mouth. She thought to herself, "You make them leave me alone. They're quiet when I'm around you."

Cleo took up her half-full, half-empty satchel, since that was all she really had, and knocked on the door. Sanctuary, here I come, she thought and waited until someone replied.

Cleo turned around once she heard a voices behind her. "Oh, hello," she greeted back, in relief that it wasn't an FBI or police officer. "Do you know if the Master of this mansion's here?"

Alex smiles, "I suppose I'm as close to a master as things get around here. I'm Alex, and this lovely maiden is my girl Tess." He looks at Tess then back, "But she only let's me call her Tess, it's Tessa for everyone else."

Turning her head to look out the window and saw the car lights. "They're home!" Anne said while grabbing Will's hand and rushing outside. She suddenly stopped a few feet away from this new person. "Um hi guys what's going on?" Anne asked some what nervous.
