Renatus stopped resisting his feelings, and embraced Lucinda. He held her close to him, and rested his head on her shoulder.

Lucinda smiled and gently kissed Renatus's cheek. She hugged him back.

Renatus smiled, and returned the kiss on Lucinda's lips. He then, slipped out of the embrace. "Good night." he said quietly.

Renatus noticed the look on Lucinda's face. "What's wrong?" He asked sincerely.

"I guess I'm just a little sad to see you go," Lucinda replied, looking down. "Sleep well." She turned to walk into her room.

"Don't worry. You'll see me tomorrow." Renatus said smiling. [[to lucinda not you. I wont see you tomorrow.]] He turned around and walked to his room. He slid inside, and closed the door behind him. He slid out of his clothes, and searched his bag for more comfortable garb.

Lucinda laid down on her bed and buried her face into the pillow. She already missed Renatus's warmth.

Renatus slipped into a simple linen shirt and pants. He layed down on the bed, staring at the celing. 'What a night...' he thought with a mental sigh. He wished he could be back with Lucinda, but didn't want to invade her privacy more than he had already done.

Lucinda slowly drifted to sleep as she lay on her bed.

Renatus' eyes were closing in sleep. He rolled over, and blew out the lantern on the desk next to his bed. In the darkness, he finally slid into dreams.

Lucinda slept well into the morning, still asleep several hours after sunrise.

Renatus' eyes blinked open as a ray of sunlight splashed into the room through the curtain at the balcony. He sleepily sat up and yawned. He stood up, and stretched his limbs. After slipping into his usual garb. He walked onto his balcony, staring out at the trees.

Lucinda lay there, silently thinking about what had transpired the night before. Then she got up with a smile, and walked over to Renatus's room. She gently knocked on the door.

Renatus heard the muffled knocking of his door. He walked back into his room, closing the balcony door behind him and glided over to his hotel room door. He transformed into his human form, before grasping the handle and opening the door. He saw that Lucinda was behind it and said, "Oh. Good morning Lucinda."
