Kirai let out a sigh. "Lanius was just here, but only Avarice spoke with him. He left, but it still is very disturbing he managed to get in without anyone, still alive that is, noticing." She then led her to the room were Demitri and Avarice were, Kirai smiled seeing Avarice and Demitri, and walked over and stood beside them, turning her head then to the door and giving permission for Mimicry to come in. "Avarice, Demitri, we have a visitor. And we might find it in our best interest to hear her out."

Avarice groaned, hearing a strangely familiar voice downstairs. "Atleast someone was polite to knock today..." Avarice mumbled, shifting his eyes towards Mimicry. Walking to the banister, he spotted Edward and grinned. "Ah, my friend...you've returned...how lovely."

Mimicry removed the cloak and laid the babies out across the bed. They shifted slightly, but didn't wake. Demitri crawled towards them. "How...fascinating...their like tiny dolls."

Edward cringed at the word 'friend'. "Avarice, as much as it makes me sick, I need to have a word with you in private. It is a matter that concerns something greater then just yours and my life." Edward for once was speaking in a relatively calm voice to Avarice, which would have made anyone who knew Edward, think he was crazy.

Kirai felt Edward and sighed. Is this good, or bad...? She then slightly felt Banshee a little ways away, She is coming too? Must be a bit too scared to allign all the crusniks with any vampire group. It will be a bit, maybe even a few hours, until she arrives. Kirai walked over to Demitri, and put her hand on his head, leaning over and smiling looking at the babies. "They are cute, arn't they?"

Avarice grinned. "Why, Edward. Don't be shy, we have all the privacy we need..." He was leaning against the banister, looking smug as hell.

Mim rested her hand on Kirai's shoulder. "Excuse me." Walking out of the room, she followed the voices. Was that Edward? She walked to the banister, spotted Edward and sighed. "Well, damn...I wonder which of us would win a beauty contest..." Avarice chuckled. Without the cloak, Mimicry looked worse. Her clothes were tattered and underneath the shreds were layers of bandages. Her parasol was strapped to her back, but it looked like it hurt. Without the cloak, the purple bruise that covered her face made her now short and choppy hair look paler.
"I bet your hear for the same thing I am..."

Demitri nodded. "They're very cute." He said. "Will you ever have dolls like these?"

"Not so cute, but... I have been working on a dollfie for you." She smiled. "Maybe soon, I can show you how to make them from the basic parts. However." Kirai held in a small laugh, "No doll will ever be as beautiful as little ones such as these, and even such as you."

Edward sheathed one of his blades. "Its about Lanius, he needs to be stopped, at all costs." Edward looked as though he was about to choke on the words he was about to speak. "I think we should form an Alliance to combat this situation. I know, this coming from me, must be like Christmas day to you, but I am not about to lose another friend or loved one to this man, nor do I want to see you or Kirai, hurt either." Edward looked him hard in the eyes. "I am tired of all the killing and fighting, I just want it all to end. So what do you say?"

Avarice grin soon grew serious. "The thought has crossed my mind atleast once or twice...Lanius' forces are growing stronger. We need to allign ourselves in arms and bring an end to his reign of terror. However, for wanting all this killing and fighting to end, disappearing for such a long time certainly doesn't help anyone." Mim sighed. "Where were you, Edward? You'd be surprised how difficult you are to find..."

Demitri's eyes brightened. "Really? A dollfie? Is it finished? May I see it?" Then, they seemed to wider with excitement when she mentioned teaching him something new. "I-I'd love to learn..." The white-haired infant, cooed...he was obviously awake, watching them with large suspicious eyes.

Edward looked to Lydia. "I was caputured at the beginning of Lanius' rise to power. I escaped a few days ago and ventured here." Edward shifted his gaze to Avarice. "Do you and Sergei have an alliance yet, or is he being pig headed as normal?"

She was happy to see him so excited. "I just need to finish sewing the outfit, attach the eyelashes and paint the face some, and it will be done. And yes, soon I will show you, starting with how to string the doll and how to handle and take proper care of them. Sound good?"

Demitri nodded his head enthusiastically, looking like an energetic ball of happiness. The baby continued to watch him, now confused rather than suspicious.

Avarice stepped away from the bannister, motioning for Mimicry and Edward to follow. "If you must know, Sergei still maintains his neutral status. Come, we'll continue this discussion upstairs with Kirai." Without waiting for a reply, he walked back down the hall, smiling when he saw Kirai with the children. "Beautiful. My wife, you are absolutely stunning." He seated himself beside her, on the opposite side of the children and took her hand. Lydia entered next and sat herself on the floor, close to the bed and the babies. "Demitri. Would you be so kind as to fetch our guest tea?" Demitri nodded, counting each of them, before hurrying off.

Kirai, seeing how pleasent Avarice was, could tell things were going well. Gladly sitting next to him, she went ahead and by looking at them, read what all happened in the conversation. She had not done this, also out of being polite, in a while. "Thank you Avarice." Looking at Edward, she added, "I am glad to see the alliance and planning so far is going well. We were wondering if you were still alive, and it is a pleasure to see that you are."

Edward followed his blue blade in hand. Once inside the room, and he seen children, he sheathed it, not wanting to endanger the life of another child. Seeing Kirai, Edward smiled and nodded, before turning his attention to Avarice. "Why is he still Netural? Doesn't he know the longer he stays out of it, the more power Lanius will gather and will crush him along with us?" Edward leaned against the wall, so to keep everyone else in sight.

Avarice shrugged, rolling his tense shoulders. What he needed was a good massage. "Either way, unless something isn't done, our future's are looking rather grim." Mimicry nodded, running her fingers along both the infants faces. "There's only so much us and your army alone can do, Avarice." Mim whispered. Her fist were clenched tightly...she wanted Lanius to pay. Demitri returned, carrying a large tray with a teapot and a matching tea set. Kirai..." He mumbled, feeling like he was going to fall.

Kirai quickly got up and took the tray from Demitri. She smiled. "Good job Demitri, thank you." She turned around and sat it on the table, and after serving everyone their tea, sat back down next to Avarice. "We all know how Lanius carries out his work. We need to find out who is working for him, and find a way to break his army down from the inside out, and get directly to him before any major battles take place."
