`Dre The robot looked up at him silently and blinked. "Hello," he said softly. "Hi" Louis said in an equally soft tone, adding a warm smile for emphasis. "You seem so upset lately. Care to tell me what is wrong?" Louis sat on the bed and patted the spot next to him invitingly.

"Promise" He nodded to himself and then released his grip a little, now feeling more secure. He definitely did not want to lose his relationship with Louis. Louis felt like he had just saved a precarious glass of water from tipping and was relieved. He loved the little robot.

September regained some of his composure and crawled under his bed to get the instruction manual he'd hid from Damien, then set it under his pillow. "Those books are hard to read," he said, now on a completely different subject. "So I watch the shows on TV instead."
