Lin had been watering Saki as usual when she noticed there was something odd about the fluffball. Perhaps it was the fact it had gotten fluffier as if someone had wet it and then took a blowdryer to the creature. Perhaps it was the fact it looked like it had little kitty ears.. but the most likely odd thing was the beady black eyes and the fact it was... murring.
Lin stared at up at creature, she had known something was odd, especially when it had begun to vibrate, however the blinking eyes kind of did it in. Putting down the cup she ran to get Haradhel.
"Haradhel! Saki is blinking at me and vibrating!!"

Haradhel had been working at one of the desks in the play room, but at Lin's shout she spun around and blinked in surprise. "Already?" she grinned. "I have to see this ..."
She slid off her chair and moved to sit on the floor near the plant. "I've never seen anything like it," she murmured, making sure there was room for Lin there as well. "You've been taking good care of her!"

Saki purred which at her small form made it looke like she was vibrating, not even having a mouth yet and she was already an attention getter. She blinked, unable to see the world around her, and continued to purr happily.
Lin grinned proudly, "I wonder if Wish was like that too, Wish is a very big cat, I wonder how big Saki is going to be."
She went back to her cup and put it away since she was finished watering the fluffball. The plant was in a sunny spot so she would still get plently of food.

Haradhel smiled. "Well, I suppose we'll find out," she replied softly. "At this rate though, it looks as though it's not going to take her very long to grow. Did your mother say how long it would take?"

Lin thought about, and she thought about it and as far as she knew the letter didn't say anything to how long it would take Saki to grow. Further more since there were only adult Fluffy Cats at home, no one bothered to ask how long it would take them to grow.
"No," Lin shook her head, "I don't know.... Wish has been big since like forever!"

Haradhel chuckled softly. "For ever, hm?" she smiled. "Since before you were born, you mean. How old are you by now, anyways?"

"Uhm...." Lin had to think about it.
She tilted her head and tried to count, which didn't go over too well at all. She tried to remember, it was a very warm day when she was born, but she had never asked what day it was. After all she was just born why would she need to ask.
"It was summer when I was born, and back home it's... Fall.. almost Winter."

"And do you know how old Wish is?" Haradhel pressed.
She hadn't met the cat personally (obviously) but she had heard about her from Elrohir, who had spent quite a bit of time traveling with her, with Donovan and a few others.

Lin thought about it, and in truth she didn't know but she did have an answer pretty near close to it.
"Uhm... uhm.. she's older than Cindy!" Lin anounced since that was the closest she could come up with it.
Lin didn't quite have the concept of time yet.

Haradhel thought about that. She didn't know how old Cindy was, but it was obvious that she was quite a bit older than Lin. And in general, cats didn't take very long to grow, even those that weren't magical.
"Then it could be a while, or it could be quite quickly," she concluded with a smile. "Perhaps we could ask Cindy when she and Adonai come down again, hm?"

Lin nodded happily, "Yay! Because I really don't know."
She mused, now that, that was over with. Lin turned back to Haradhel and looked up.
"Uhm... Haradhel, I'm done my lessons and stuffs... so... could I go to the barracks? I need someone with me to go so...."
She rocked on her heels.

"And you would like me to take you," Haradhel smiled. "Yes, I would love to come with you, Lin. Would you like me to carry you or do you want to walk?"
She rose to her feet and waited for Lin's answer.

"Don't worry, I can walk, or run," Lin replied back with a grin, "Besides I need the practice."
She was excited, normally she would seek out Elros if she could, though there were others she had not met yet. Or she met briefly, very briefly.

Haradhel smiled. "All right then," she nodded, and she headed towards the door to the hallway and opened it for Lin. "Need anything?"
She paused and waited for the child to catch up with her.

Lin hurried along to catch up with Haradhel, she looked up so she could see the woman's face. Even though she should be looking in front of her, but it was instinct to need to see her face.
"Nope, just me," Lin grinned.
She could have brought her doll, but it would only get dirty outside.
