Kioko looked tense, and them calmed down when the girl approached in a well-mannered manner.
oh, she just wanted this off? kioko thought sweatdropping.
She nodded and focused energy on her right hand. With a clean sweep, she cut the main lock of the bonds, slicing it in half.
"there, its easier to get rid of when your calm. the harder you struggle, the stronger it holds." She said smiling at the girl.

"the names Kioko." she said leaning back again on the boulder.
dang, even the smallest amount of magic use is taking its toll on my body. She thought, careful not to let anyone spot her eyeing her mark on the back of her neck.
Kioko looked back at Elizabeth and tried her best not to look too fatigued.

"Well, even if you're just tired, I would like to help in any way I can. After all you did to try and help me, I feel it's only right that I try to help you." Strobe said, trying to reason her into letting him help. Just then, he was hit by a dozen wooden splinters.
"What the hell?" He exclaimed as he turned around. There, he saw an experiment in some kind of containment cuffs carelessly bashing away at everything she saw fit for smashing. Behind her, he saw a trail of destruction, which he knew lead straight back to the lab on the clif, and, therefore, straight to the people who were trying to kill them. Alarms were sounding, and the girl was acting like it was nothing but a day in the park!
"Are you mad, girl? You've lead them straight to us! How did you plan on getting away when you leave a trail the size of the grand canyon in your wake? You know what, never mind! We've got to go!"

Kioko just sweatdropped. was everyone reacting slow or just weird today?
"aheh, dont worry about it, just make sure we get to the city now. That trail isnt going to go away anytime soon." she said getting back up

"Max, we;re behind you!" Strobe said, facepalming himself at the thought of the new companion. "What were you trying to accomplish, anyway? Wasn't it obvious those things weren't coming off?"
On any other day, Strobe would have taken this turn by coming up with some kind of plan or maneuver he picked up as an assassin. Today, however, hadn't been the best of days.

"actually, that is better. now just dont smash any more trees, ok she-hulk?" he said jokingly. "now lets go to the city. once we get there ill just have to lay low, no big deal, until you three come back." he started walking off towards the city.

he turned around and glared at her with his beastly eyes. "im not sure what makes you think you can just show up, boss us around and draw all kinds of attention to us, but its going to stop and its going to stop now." he snarled the last word. "you need to learn how to take a joke, because i might just forget to take my medicine one day when i need it, and you wouldnt like dealing with me when i get feral, i dont care how strong you are. and you dont scare me, cutting down trees is easy, cuz they suck for scratching posts." he turned back around, his tail lashing about furiously.
