As they were walking towards the beach, Claire looked at Boone and smiled. Without really realizing it, she leaned in forward and kissed him. She quickly turned her head and continued walking.
"Sorry about that.."
She said a bit blushing.

Sun tried to be oblivious to the conversation going on between Jack and Shannon, but what she had heard had jolted her painfully back into reality. Shannon... pregnant?! Possibly?! Sun closed her eyes and almost fell over. It would be like Claire all over again, only this time from the beginning. Sun found herself wondering who it was with. Sayid, likely, but there were other possibilities. Sun decided to act like she hadn't heard anything. She knew it must have been hard for Shannon to admit the error of her ways to Jack alone. If Sun knew, then the whole camp may as well know...

Claire turned to face him. She smiled abit and looked away. She wasn't really the type of person to kiss somebody first and she was scared Boone would change his thoughts towards her because of that. Just a kiss wasn't really big, but for her, it was.

Claire kissed him and held the kiss for a few seconds. She pulled away alittle so she would be about an inch away and she smiled. She pulled away so she would be at about 2 inches from his face and smiled again.

Heather filled up her water bottle and went out to the beach to see about getting some tools for making her home. When she got to the beach, she looked over and saw Shannon talking with Jack and Sun. She looked upset over something. Heather was puzzled by the site. Things were still acward on this love triangle. She just hoped it didn't get worse.

"Shannon stop...you don't have to tell me everything." Jack placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "But there is the possibility?"

"Yes..." Shannon bent her head and felt tears threaten. Oh god, what was she going to do? Boone sure as hell wouldn't be pleased by news and god, how the hell was she supposed to raise a baby on this Island...of course Claire was doing a great job so far but Claire seemed to be a natural. She instinctively felt her abs and vanity took over for a few minutes. I'm going to be fat...stretch ******** you want, Kate found a pregnancy test in someone's luggage...it hasn't been damaged or anything so it should work, if you want of course." Shannon raised her head and stared hard at Jack as though trying to process his words.

"I...sure." She said after a few minutes and tried to blink past the tears she knew were about to fall. "This is really stupid...very typical of me." She stated quietly, more to herself than anyone else around them. With a shaking hand she tried to smooth her hair.

"I'll bring it over here if you'd like, or you could come to the caves..."

"Out here please. I'll go off and do it myself and then when I get the answer I'll come and see you."

Jen walks over to an empty spot on the beach. She lays down to read a book. "Well," she thought, "This is the last one I brought with me. I guess I'll have to start rereading them." She laughs quietly as she starts to read her book.
