I'm not sure that's true. According to one story, R2 had a lightsaber fight with vader, so there's a chance what you're thinking about is fanfiction.
In any case, Leia does become a jedi, she's trained by luke, actually.

But seriously, R2? That's just a retarded story right there. Granted he pwned droid a** in the newer movies, R2 cannot duel a paraplegic with a lightsaber.

I'm quite sure it's not fan fiction; it has to do with some sort of Jedi artifact that greatly increases the user's ability to manipulate the force. The only problem with it is that the artifact gets weaker the farther you take it away from it's temple. Leia beat Vader by making him fall through the unstable floor; only after she got seriously cut up of course. Lucky for her, Luke came in with the artifact and patched her up. R2? Fighting a paraplegic Sith lord with a light saber? My mind...cannot handle...AUGH! my eyes! burning_eyes

Heh. The R2 fight was from the StarWars Manga, which was entirely fan made and contained non-canon rubbish.
And you guys better hurry up, i've got some angry new guys who want to post that you're holding up.
EDIT: Ah, Cadet, you're thinking of the Kaiburr crystal, and that wasn't vader, that was someone possessed by the spirit of the sith lord Exar Kun.

Well, I am not angry. I want to post though. Regardless, there are only two new people, not a big rush. It would be nice though to be able to start by the end of the week.

The Starwars vault on starwars.com is actually horribly incomplete, and it bugs me, because I know more Starwars Canon than the FREAKING OFFICIAL WEBSITE does.
Anyway. I want Blackbird and Bayer at the verly least to post once more before moving on, then we should be good for the next chapter and the new guys.
