It's alright, Celeste...
You'd know about as much about my country as I do about yours so I can't hold you against it.
We only cover the real basics in high school...
five basic courses, only rising in difficulty
Math, Science, History, P.E., English, and Spanish
All the way up to
Advanced Algebra, Chemistry, and American History
As for discipline...
while I do somewhat pave a geneal route, I'm really bad at studying habits
Never had to study before
It's almost impossible for me to start doing so correctly now.
I try, but I'm always distracted within minutes unless I'm under pressure.
But Agriculture can net you upwads of 100k with a promising bachelors or a Master's. The field is so lacking that it's very demading for promising students that show interest, so I pretty much have it made.

I knew it was lacking.. didn't know it made such good money!
I'm the same.. sorta. My family is very academic. So my marks tend to be good, even without effort, and I can't be driven to make them that much better. Any homework I get I do in class, if I need more time.. well it doesn't get done. Unless I can do it over lunch hour.
Although, it's not really distraction.. more procrastination.
