*the wolf stayed put for a while before getting up and moving in the same manner, circling to the shadow's left, trying to get a better look at it, moving closer at the same time. akai's tail continued to sway as he moved, this creature much more interesting than the man that smelled of death*

::He simply smiled and sighed again, his aura had its limits, and it hadn't reached any of them. He knew that Xol had always been a more powerful being than him, but things were different now, he could care less of fighting Xol. He had more important business to attend to.::
I could care less what Mastema thinks. My alliances went farther than simply Mastema when I was at my prime in this place. Xol, the worst enemy you have is yourself. Don't get too headstrong. You may be more powerful than me, but in the end it won't make much of a difference.
::Turning his back to Xol he faced the newcomer his eyes shifting in their orbs, as his aura sunk back to its original level, the rocks and such around him settling down to earth.::
So you work for Mastema I presume?

Xol just chuckled at Kenji. How little he truly knew of him after all this time. "And to think... I thought you smarter than that Kenji. Assuming I focus on my power and am nothing more than an egomanicial, close-minded fool. Tsk, tsk. 'Tis a shame..."
With a shrug, Xol exploded into a plume of black mist and appeared at the top epicenter of the Citadel's barrier. "Soon..." He growled throatily, looking down at where the massive tower he believed Mastema to be in would be located. "Very soon Mastema..."
Exploding into another plume of black mist, he was gone this time.

*Shortly after Thanatos left, Trilla started to stir in her sleep. The cover had started to scratch and annoy her skin slightly. Opening her eyes slightly the child looked over at the wall between her and Micha's bed. Micha was still asleep, so Trilla slid out of bed, and made her way back to his. Plopping down again, Trilla would lightly poke at Micha's cheek until his eyes opened a little*
Trilla: o__o | Micha still tired?
Micha: . . .
Trilla: .__. | Hnn... you can have Trilla's.
Micha: . . . ?
*The child would nod, as if she were having a conversation with the boy, even if he didn't speak. It appeared that she was giving a reasurance of some sort. Getting up from the floor, Trilla trots back over to her bed and strips the top blanket. With blanket in hand, Trilla made her way back and covered Micha from head to toe. He had been left on top of his own covers for the entire time so if he had felt chilled, the boy was left to remain just that. Satisfied with her work, Trilla pulled the top of the cover back a bit so Micha could breath*
Trilla: o__o | Is that better?
Micha: . . .
Trilla: 4laugh Micha will be better soon...!
*Reaching over to hug Micha tightly, Trilla would seemingly fall asleep again while latched onto him, like she'd simply lost her energy. When Thanatos returned, he'd be greeted by the image of his little sister, hugging Micha and having fallen asleep where she stood. Micha would again close his eyes soon after*
Micha: . . .
Trilla: --.-- | z Z z Z z...
*The shadowy creature would stop for a time and let the wolf, check it over. The entire time, its eye would follow. At least they both seemed curious about eachother. Neither seemed to hold any fear of the other, then again they weren't posed to attack*

*feeling alittle bold, the wolf moved in closer for a better look. just getting close to one of the hands and sniffing at it, his ears flattening as he kept an eye on the rest of the shadow. If anything akai was quite, not having barked at anyone since it arrived at the citadel*

*Perhaps the shadowy creature was a bit skittish as it moved back a good thirty feet, when the wolf got too close. The hands drumbed on the ground again a little, but not in a threatening mannor. Having had enough for this encounter, the six flaps close over the eye, and the creature melts back into the shadows. Who knew when it would appear again, or where*

*Thanatos would exit the elevator at the 98th floor. He'd had a short breakfast and was now on his way back to the children's room. He would call for Micha's food once the boy was awake. Than quietly opened the door and walked in. Looking around he found Trilla out of her bed* >> Hmm? Doko... *Than trailed off when he found Trilla hugging to Micha from the side of his bed. He also noted the extra blanket put over Micha* ..... Hnnn..... *He could guess what had happened quite easily, and momentarily praised Trilla's kindness. He didn't want to separate them, of course. Carefully, Than moved his arm around Trilla and lifted what part of her body wasn't on the bed and laid her on her side. Thusly, Trilla would be entirely on Micha's bed and still hugging to him. Hopefully Micha wouldn't mind it* ^^ *Than went over and sat down on Trilla's bed*

*Trilla's wings would twitch and flex a little, as if she were dreaming about something. Thanatos often did the same when he slept, when his wings curled around him. His twitches were more like a dog or a cat though, where as Trilla's probably resembled that of a bird's, since it was only her wings twitching. Her breath was light and generally quiet, it seemed she was enjoying her rest. Micha didn't seem to mind Trilla's presence there, and continued to rest his eyes. The same would hold true for Eecheb, as he too would continue to sleep for now. It appeared that the worst was probably over, in reality something was only probably just beginning*

*Thanatos just smiled softly at Trilla's movements. It would seem she'd awakened just long enough to cover her brother and latch to him, in a manner of speaking*... Hmm.... Zio....when Micha wakes up, I want you to transport the food I asked to his table. If he can't move to feed himself I want Proto informed if I'm not back.
Zio: *Zio's screen would appear long enough to acknowledge the request before vanishing* Affirmative, Lord Thanatos.
*Than then stood up and quietly walked from the room. He'd confronted many people when he came back to the citadel, but there were two he'd yet to speak with. Unsure of what Mastema's punishment would be, Than wanted to at least visit Nana now, even if she wasn't awake. After that, he would go to confront Mastema and the punishment he was to administer*

*The children would remain as they were for now, so Thanatos would be left to do what he had wanted. Nana was probably still asleep in Mastema's arms, still gathering her strength little by little. It would still be a while before Nana would be fully recovered. What would happen in the mean time? The children still needed to be looked after and needed to be taught. They still needed to learn to fly, and learn basic magic in order to protect themselves. It seemed that the schedual was completely thrown into chaos. Unfortunately that's just how things were for now, but hopefully they'd get better and then back on track. Of course who knew what the impending attack on the citadel would do aswell. More stress and set backs were sure to follow*

*Thanatos knew by sense that Mastema was not in the bed room, but he was in the 100th floor. Nana had likely been released after she'd fallen asleep, and Mastema had probably left just a short while ago. Than proceeded towards the master bed room door and carefully opened it. Peeking in, he found Nana laying on the bed, in her slip and armor* Hnnn.... *Nana's robe was folded and placed on a small table by the bed now, so Nana would be able to redress herself when she was strong enough. Than would quietly walk over to the bed, look down at Nana for a moment, and gently take a seat on the edge of the bed. For a moment, Than didn't bother trying to wake her and just sat there in thought. Truthfully, though he knew Nana to be a compassionate person, he was rather scared to face her, in a way because of her kindness. Knowing that he'd done some wrong to Nana always made him feel a ping of guilt* v_v *Than gently grabbed one of Nana's hands and lightly tightened his fingers around it*

*Nana's wings were pulled in tightly to her back, probably helping to keep her warm. She was probably feeling a little more chilled than normal, like Micha, Nana was on top of the bedsheets and not under them, so the air had probably cooled her skin by a degree or two. So as Thanatos held onto her hand, she probably felt a little cool to him. Nana probably wouldn't see Thanatos' actions toward her as wrong. He was just trying to live, and sometimes things happened in life that weren't always going to put someone in the best of light. Nana would remain at rest for the moment, until Thanatos tried to wake her. The way she appeared for now, you'd never know she was still so damaged... so broken*

*Than couldn't help but blink at how oddly chilled Nana's hand felt* Mmmn... That's no good. *Before moving on to perhaps wake Nana up, Than released her hand and reached over her. Than would pull over the other half of the blanket, from Mastema's side of the bed, and gently pull it over Nana. It would really be the opposite of how the blanket was supposed to be used, but just as effective for warming someone. Than would make sure it was wrapped around Nana as much as comfortably possible*... That should warm her up...... *Than leaned over enough so that his forehead was not resting against the blanket, and he just stayed that way for a moment* .... I can't keep hiding from her like that... *Than lifted himself and moved over so he was closer to Nana's upper torso and lightly took her hand again*.... N-Nana......can you hear me?
