"Trick or treating?" Atem asked, sighing. "I don't know. I don't have any kind of costume..." He jumped in alarm when there was a sudden, sharp knocking from the bedroom door. He went over hesitantly, half expecting to see Anzu there. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw it was only Ryou.
"You're coming to the mall with me." Ryou stated simply, as soon as the door opened. He was glad to see that he had waken Atem or Ember up, and that they were both dressed. "I'm going shopping and you're coming too. Got that?" Ryou wasn't normally this pushy, but for some reason he was right then.
"Are you psychic?" Atem asked, feeling nervous. It seemed very odd that this would happen. "I was just talking to Ember about--"
"I don't care." Ryou said snappishly, his eyes narrowing a little. "Just make sure you're ready to go. I'm going to go eat." He turned quickly, to go to the kitchen and make some breakfast. His hair was still wet from his shower, but he had dressed for the day and would have left if he didn't feel the need to have Atem and Yugi come along.
