Shatter the thoughts that reign supreme.
With a reigning light, a powerful gleam.
Shatter the freedom that comes with the sky...
Sami smirked, her own seatbelt already on.
"Good for you," she stated simply.
Then she slammed her foot onto the gas.
The car leaped forward, powering down the garage length like a rocket with the engine's power echoing upon itself. It was like there were hundreds of cars inside.
Sami watched the speedometer.
"HOLY CRAP FOUR SECONDS!" She cried.
Then she looked up to see the elevator doors right in front of them.
"HOLY ******** slammed onto the brakes, making the entire car jerk forward as the tires squealed.
With fifty feet to spare separating them and the elevator from where she slammed onto the brakes, they made it safely into the elevator. The car hadn't even jerked to either side.
It had been a smooth stop, more or less.
Sami's eyes were wide, her breathing quick as she stared at the steering wheel.
"Oh my God I love this car," she breathed.
You know death has come when time is an eye.
