*Now both hands had come to form infront of the shadowy creature. They'd tap the ground, making a bongo-like sound. The wolf could probably feel the light tremors under its paws, as the ground was struck and the sound eminated through the air. Both seemed to be looking at eachother, and perhaps trying to figure what the other was. No doubt, neither wolf nor shadowy creature had seen another like eachother*
???: .........?
*The soot like material would flip like chunks of dirt, but looked more like paint. Thin and flat, a few smaller particles would stay attached to Thanatos' finger tips. If he looked closely, it did resemble some of the paint color from over on Trilla's side of the room, but the consistancy was different. Having been injured more than once in his life time, Thanatos would probably reccognise the substance almost immediately*

::As the two tiny red orbs in the distance became more clear, Kenji's body finally came into clear view again as he skidded to a stop infront of the looming dome of the Citadel. Looking up at the mirrored effect he sighed knowing very well what lay behind that shield. Cracking his neck he rested his hand on his trusty katana, his mind racing through thoughts. Sighing again he shook his head at the ground and decided to see if he could get somebodies attention. Forming a small ball of black energy entwined with a golden electricity, he hurled it up at the Citadel knowing very well that it was quite useless to try and break in. He was very simply trying to get the attention of someone who he could mend his ways to get him inside the massive domed structure. He began to speak at a normal tone of voice directly at the dome.::
Ooooh Mastema are you still alive? Or have you been killed by those weakling Black Company fools. Better question is our dear friend Xol still alive? Hah and what about that kid of yours... I'm sure hes doing well. Hah you probably don't even remember who I am. If you do remember me, well then we may have something to talk about... if not you know what they say, actions speak louder than words...
::With his small speech over he formed another ball of energy and hurled it again at the dome. It could almost be seen as a young boy trying to get the attention of his young lover by throwing a rock at her window.::

*the wolf tilted its head and looked up at the thing, curious as to what it was. alittle hesitant to move closer to it since it did have a size advantage, akai tried to get its scent without moving closer.*

::Hurling another ball at the barrier he was beggining to get frustrated, as one could tell by hurling the latest ball with enough force to cause the energy to lose its ball like shape and become more of an oval with the velocity that Kenji threw it at. Snarling slightly he formed another ball and was about to hurl this one even harder when he felt the presence of something behind the barrier. Smirking he witheld his ball.::
Interesting...
::He seemingly swallowed the ball up into the palm of his hand as he clenched his fist. Sighing he stood silently waiting on his next feeling of activity.::

*To Akai, the strange shadowy creature would probably smell like static. It was a rather unique smell, and might explain part of the strange blue and black substance. Just what was this thing anyhow? It would appear to be just as tentative about the wolf, as the wolf was about it*

((Kenji, the barrier doesn't allow you to see inside of it, so you shouldn't be able to see the wolf, or anything going on inside for that matter 3nodding Also the wolf is inside the barrier not out. ))

Than: *Truthfully, he wasn't all that surprised by the blood. He was more surprised as to how it'd becoem soot-like* Hnn.... *Than brushed it off his fingers and leaned over to give Eecheb a quick hug* Get well soon, little brother.... *Standing up, Than would make his way over between Micha and Trilla's beds, examining both of them. Trilla he knew to be fine... and he hoped that Micha would wake up soon so he could get nourished*
*Kenji's blasts would merely be absorbed by the barrier's substantial properties and diluted to a safe concentration*
Sho: *A voice would come from Kenji's side, calm and serene* Now why does everyone have to do that.... I swear it's like a fad or something to throw energy at the energy absorbing barrier. *Sho stepped forward into view. His shoulder blade length brown hair and red eyes were easy to see. Most of his attire was of purple color and light weight. His brown boots went from his feet all the way up to his thighs*

::To Kenji's pleasure, his own crimson orbs landed upon the new apparently human being that had seemingly appeared out of the area close to the barrier. A small smile grew on his face as he looked the man up and down for a second nodding in satisfaction. He came to a few conclusions before speaking to the man at first, not bothering to take a defensive position or increase his ever present, if not ever visible aura.::
And you would be...
::Kenji's statement seemed to trail off into nothingness as he waited for the response from the newcomer, all the while wondering if his intentions were of harmful intent or to simply talk. As his smile died down his once visible canines dissapeared behind his lips.::

*sitting down, the wolf watched the thing that smelled unlike anything he knew. tilting his head to the other side, its tail wagging slightly since this was the first thing that had his attention in a long time.*

*The children would remain as they were for now, though if any were to wake any time soon it would probably be Trilla. If Thanatos had other things to do, he could probably go and come back before anything happened. Eecheb would get better, it just wouldn't happen in one day. Though it didn't explain what had happened to him, or why he had started bleeding. The next time the boy met Sho, he might ask how the boy was doing since his last visit. Hopefully Eecheb would be well*

A streak of energy zipped through the sky at a frantic pace, as it drew closer it was revealed to be a black orb laced with silver streaks and a milky white interior. Kenji and Sho, it's desired targets would have little time to move before it struck the ground inbetween them and carved out a perfect semi-circle crater roughly ten feet in diameter.
Xol landed on the ground moments after he had launched the aforementioned orb of dark matter. A blinding silver aura was engulfing his body so that only the keenest of eyes would see past the sheet of color with two gleaming crimson eyes.
"Kenji... I thought I smelled cowardice. It's been a long time. I'd be quite stunned to learn if you were actually hiding this whole time. Or were you doing the whole training to get more powerful routine?" He chuckled demonically, ignoring Sho for the time being.

*The shadowy creature also tilted it's head, or what appeared to be its head. The wagging tail was amusing, and something it had not seen before. Still observing, the shadowy creature would move around a little, to the wolf's left trying to get a better view of the wolf as a whole. It's red fur looked like blood, something else that had caught the creature's eye. Finally it makes some audible sound*

::Laughing the whole time he turned momentarily from the newcomer and turned to his old nemesis. Shaking his head his crimson eyes deepened in color, their resemblence in blood becoming more apparent sighing he rolled his neck and finally spoke up.::
Same old ego, same old Xol. It never gets old for you does it? And to answer you're question I was visiting an old friend you might say...
: biggrin eciding to show his own machismo, he smirked and at the same instance a blinding aura enflamed from around him, sending the rocks and debris of Xol's entrance flying from underneath him. Flexing his muscles for a second he smirked at his auras presence, the blackness engulfing everything around him with the buzzing sparks of golden electricity constantly encircling his black repository.::
I'm sure you came here for a bigger reason Xol. What do you want.. blah blah blah... ::Sarcasm reeked from his last statement as his aura continued to course throughout every aspect of his being. Looking over his aura engulfed shoulder, he peered at the new man for a second to see what his response would be if any.::

*Than would chuckle lightly at the scene. They all seemed peaceful enoug, so he didn't want to wake them* Hnn... I'll let them be for a while longer. *Than decided he would go get himself something to eat and then bring back something Micha could have. Than would quiet leave the room after pulling Trilla's blanket back over her completely*
Sho: Well.. I would be what you asked for I should think o_0 No one flings around power without wanting attention. And you're doing one of the worse power hiding jobs I've ever seen. Hmm? *Sho blinked and watched the orb carve out a crater* Oh for christ sake how many times is this land going to be upheaved like that.... *He looked over the pretty shiney aura Xol had around him*......why'd I bother getting out of bed....

"Mastema doesn't deal with welps like you anymore Kenji. Besides if he can't kill me what makes you think that you can even touch me. Why don't you return to whatever skirt you crawled out from under and disappear for a few more years..." Xol yawned boredly, taking a moment to stretch before his aura seeped back into his body. It was a new sensation, this silver aura. Even he didn't know what it meant quite yet though.
"What's this? Do I detect a poor bit of sarcasm in your voice? I like how it weakly matches your pathetic attempt at showing off your low power level." He chortled as the dust and debris coming from Kenji's aura simply diverted around Xol as if an invisible sphere were deflecting it.
Still choosing to ignore Sho, he crossed his arms at his chest and impatiently tapped the bladed fingers of his gauntlets together. "If you're done... perhaps you can tell me why you're truly here. Something of importance must have caused you to come crawling back to Mastema. What... did you sense your leash going slack? Come back so master can tighten it?"
