inFamous > Prototype.
But I totally agree on DMC and RE. Two excellent long running Capcom series.

I don't play games very much no adays. They don't hold my attention anymore. I'll still play PKMN, but I basically have to force myself. And I love Rockband with my friends and stuff. I guess it's because I don't really have time to anymore.
I would like to see Megaman Legends 3..
Also, Taigaa, I was joking on my previous post.
I'm omnipotent, Virgil. Buwhahahaah!! scream

Megaman X is the best Megaman series hands down. Nothing else compares.

Well... I don't like you, Dai... Period.
You younger folks have for respect the classics the shaped today's video games. Mega Man, hands down, is one of the most influential video games. If it was never made with it's steal powers from enemies design, I highly doubt we would have DMC or GOW...

I respect the classics more than most people, for your information. I just don't like Megaman is all. I think its very immature and inaccurate to base whether you like someone or not because of their personal preference in video games -_-

Ichimura Kenshin You younger folks have for respect the classics the shaped today's video games. Mega Man, hands down, is one of the most influential video games. If it was never made with it's steal powers from enemies design, I highly doubt we would have DMC or GOW... Isn't that my line you whipper-snapper? Also we wouldn't have DMC because Capcom wouldn't exist without Megaman. At least their non-fighting game department wouldn't rofl In all seriousness though the lack of difficulty in today's games is mostly Nintendo's fault. In an effort to expand their market to the mainstream they've caused good hardcore games to become more of an obscurity in a flood of shitty rushed out "family" games. Microsoft did the same thing to FPSs. Before Halo we saw maybe one good FPS a year, now there's an asston of them and only a couple are worth playing. As for Sony, they're guilty of doing it to RPGs. So basically every company focused on an area where they received the most success to the point they supersaturated the market with unplayable crap that you have to sift through to find the real gems.

No! I'm a senior citizen when it comes to older games. xd lol. My first game ever was MegaMan 2 for the GameBoy...
Being surrounded by a bunch of Bakamono's who take every word someone says serious is annoying.
Also, Kage, I hope you aren't mocking me...

Well even older games were sometimes 'too easy'. A SNES game called Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest (Yes, no number) sported an amazing soundtrack and was pretty standard as an RPG in story, but was a bit too easy because there wasn't much strategy involved. Super Mario World was too easy because of the warp points you could abuse (of course if you went the fair way this is obviously not the case). But yeah, most older titles like Castlevania were difficult.
Some games wisely choose to give the option of hard or easy to the player. Fire Emblem for the GBA is an example (all three of them). Fire Emblem 6 was hard on normal mode but you could deal with it. On Hard mode, it was terribly difficult. Fire Emblem 7 was noticably easier in normal mode, but still offered much challenge in hard mode. However, Fire Emblem 8, a more recent title than the others, was insultingly easy on both normal and hard mode, but hard was slightly more difficult still.
Somehow I feel i got off topic up there somewhere...

Oh? My first game was Super Mario Brothers for the NES. xp But enough with the "who's been into gaming longer" lol
I know I totally sound like an elitist (because I am when it comes to gaming) but I really don't like people that don't respect the roots of gaming. If you hate on classic games, then honestly you aren't a gamer. You're just a nublet to me. Everything nowadays had the road hard paved for it by the old stuff. You have no right to call yourself a gamer if you don't respect that.
Not saying anyone here doesn't respect old skool gaming btw. Just laying my views on the table.
Also I don't think he was mocking you Ichi. I think he was more agreeing with my previous post.
