Anyway, when you make your character, go to the person that gives you your body, establish your name, and then move the contents of the chest into your inventory (accomplished most quickly by having both the chest and your backpack open and shift-clicking all of the items), and then go to the thing in the upper left of the character creation room that asks for a "hearth secret".
Put in andgrill. That will spawn you at or near my little log cabin and add you to my friend list. I expect to see you all soon.
