Way to scar me for life, Virgil... stare
=_=
Anyways. I'll try to post this evening. If you want to go ahead and post with Kyo, Virgil, it would be all right. And probably make sense, since Tetsu is slower then Hei, and Hei left a bit before him.... @.@

All of my techniques... are going to evolve by one step! xd
OMG there were so many ******** freshman at school today. I mean they were there yesterday too, but I didn't see them because I only went to one building. They're everywhere, and they're still cocky as hell from being seniors. Though admittedly, I miss being a senior. That was back when it was socially acceptable to kick a cocky underclassman's a**, but here in college it's like.. frowned upon or something because there are so many adults taking classes. xd
You would have liked my class though, Virgy. ... Gear Second!

Dante's version:
Damn there are always so many freshmen. You could see them everyday, even if you only ever go to one building. They're everywhere and they're still relatively carefree from graduating high-school. I miss being in high-school student. Back when even getting a perfect score in an exam was still plausible, and getting a zero wouldn't 'cause you too freak out. But here it's like everything's on a chicken wire balance, one wrong move and there goes your grade.
No one would like to be in my class.

All of my techniques... are going to evolve by one step! It's a lecture about game design, but we spent the entire lecture discussing games and franchises and the times our professor spent working at Red Storm and the glitches he and his co-workers found in games.
Dante, you're a nut. ... Gear Second!

Awesome. I would like to have been in on that lecture. I wonder how your professor feels about the direction gaming is going in.

I want my platformers back scream
Anyone remember Banjo Kazooie/Banjo Tooie? Those games were far more epic than any mass amounts of FPS that's being churned out at an alarming rate this day and age! Honestly, Prince of Persia was the only other notable platformer i've seen besides Mario I guess.
Splinter Cell was innovative but it lost its flavor after the first two.
Racing games are like sports games - ALL THE SAME.
GTA - still fun, no complaints here.
Games based on movies - these will forever suck.
Now I shall continue to lurk.

Shush! I've been busy. She has poor excuses. xd
Lol. I went home for lunch and played with my new lappytop and was late for work. And then I've been bust at work today. So... Yeah. >.>
So, I guess Taigaa is going into Video Games, or something along those lines? Like programers...? O.o?
And what did you mean, Virgil, by how VGs are going?

Dude God of War. How could you not love that series?
*puts on Simon costume* One man, equal to the gods! Kicking a** and taking names.
Also RPGs and RTSs are the shiz too.
Well I read an article that I completely agree with. It was about how the advent of motion/touch controls prevent the gamer from being completely immersed in the game like they once did. I find that true. Back on PS2 when I was playing FFX or something like that Virgil would fade into the background and I became a character in that universe. I wasn't controlling the party. I was a member of it. Nowadays however you have all these motion controls that impede that immersion to a certain extent. No matter how captivating a game is, you're still quite aware of yourself because you have to move and do all this other crap. The move towards 3D gaming is an attempt to return to full immersion gaming, but it's really just a gimmick (besides stereoscopic 3D doesn't work for me anyway, I'm blind in one eye xd ). The way I see it. With the widespread use of motion controls, gaming won't get back to a state of full immersion until a platform can create a reality bubble if you will that literally puts the player inside the game.
Edit: Dang it Ichi making me type out that explanation then signing off. Imma cut you scream
