But, on the bright side... I'm ending the day with a prime cut of steak my grandmother gave me two weeks ago. I was gonna save it until Friday, but screw it!
It's now simmering with olive oil, lots of my homemade garlic condiment, fresh onions I bought two days ago, white rice cooked with the blood that seeped out and some of the remaining sofrito. I'm also toasting some delicous garlic water-bread.
That will give me a surge of endorphins that shall leave me higher than the Andromeda galaxy! @_@

Oh you have no idea how blissful that first bite was... deliciously juicy, miraculously tender and after having marinated in olive oil and my garlic condiment since this Sunday, the flavor is absolute debauchery.
The old pagan gods of pleasure would bow to their knees in its presence and fight more passionately over it than the greeks over Hellen of Troy herself!
Yeah, we puertoricans love our food...
While you starve, know that I'm currently sitting on my bed, eyes rolling to the back of their sockets in the pleasures brought by a most wonderful surge of endorphins and rubbing my full belly with pure satisfaction.
THIS is how you end those really shitty days...
