WAAAASH ;A;
But that would be my only gripe about it.
Man, not a lot of love for the Dexter. But I was never a fan of the girlfriend, and if the series focuses more on her than his badass sister, than I can understand it.

I need to add Firefly to my usual rotation of things that I watch in the background while I work on other stuff. Also,

Firefly is wonderful and I'm one of those people that didn't like the movie, but only when you're comparing it to the show.
There really is no love for Dexter, is there? ya jerks.
Aaand I didn't like Death Note.

In comparison I think the movie sucked pretty bad. All because they were trying to fit hours of show into a one hour movie.
If I'd watched the movie without seeing the show, I would think it was a pretty wonderful story.
Lol, on the note of Firefly: I love the episode of Castle where Nathan Fillion where's his Mal costume for Halloween. That was excellent.

My best memory of Firefly is the first real impression the show made on me. I was watching it at a friend's house and was feeling kind of "eh" about it, until the hostage situation where Mal walks through the door, shoots the hostage taker in the head, keeps walking, and starts barking out orders all in one smooth scene.
After that it kinda clicked what an awesome show it was.

That was excellent. 2 hours, but yeah, they were trying to squeeze like a whole season into it. Actually I think I saw the movie before really watching the show first. But I agree. I have no love or hate for Dexter. Never got around to watching it. And yes, I lol'd so much at that scene. Especially the bit about it being 5 years and should move on. There's so many little Firefly references in Castle. It's awesome.

It occurs to me that every single person in the movie does a better job of acting than Nicholas Cage. Every time he talks it feels like a run-on sentence.
Also, I find myself inexplicably laughing whenever Steve Buscemi mentions how he drove through three states wearing a girl's head for a hat.
