I'm just arguing that Snake can't beat Sonic.

Oh, and Wario’s down special move is the Wario Waft. That is to say, he passes gas. This particular special move builds up power the longer you go without using it.  If you haven’t held it in, it’ll be a cute little poot.
But when you hold it in as much as you can...?!In this case, patience really is a virtue. Yeah, but I meant that Wario's FS should be a fart the size of an atom bomb.

He survived jumping out of a space ship, and re-entry into Earth's atmosphere in Sonic 2.
Snakes explosives won't do jack to Sonic.
In Brawl, yes he could. Because it's a fighting game. Which are balanced.
