So...I'm back from my vacation in Key Largo. Went snorkeling and canoeing for the first time. Also got swamped by mosqitos -> lots of bites.

I hate mosquitos. Evil little blood-sucking vampire bitches. It's only the females that bite you know. I hate them. That's about the only good thing with southern Nevada is that there are no mosquitos... then again there's not really any on the california coast due to the sea air. But the buzzing... it always makes my hair stand on end. I never go anywhere where theres mosquitos without bringing some calibine lotion. it stops the itch... I heard that skin so soft is supposed to be a good mosquito repellent so I'll have to try that out next time I have to face the blood-sucking monsters.

Hey, anyone know of a good free online MMORPG game? I've been on the hunt for a few days now, lookin for something fun to play online, but I can't seem to find anything that really catches my interest...>.<
I canceled my World of Warcraft account, that game just got way too dull for me. I need something that has a lot of variety in it, where you're not doing the same crap over and over. Also, I have a super NES, Genesis, Sega CD and regular NES emulators, so any good RPG suggestions for any of those consoles would be nice too. 3nodding
I'm currently playing Tales of Phantasia for the Super NES, but kinda stuck at the boss right now >.< he's way too damn hard! stressed Also, I have already played the Final Fantasy series as well as Chrono Trigger, so no need to mention those. I'm really interested in any Sega CD RPG's, mainly cause the system utilizes its graphics for the cutscenes which is awesome.
So hard to find a good MMORPG nowadays...Final Fantasy XI was far too time consuming, and WoW was just plain boring and childish. City of Heroes was basically like WoW, far too repetive and boring and childish. Phantasy Star Universe was just plain...crappy. Star Wars Galaxies was a joke. Guild Wars had poor character design and felt a lot like WoW. I'm not interested in Lord of the Rings. I think that's pretty much all I've played as far as MMORPG's goes... sweatdrop
They REALLY need to make a friggin Vampire MMORPG. I would love that. cool

Damn, you already played Chrono Trigger?
Hmmm... you pretty much listed off the majority of what I know...
Oh what about Ocean Star? I think I remember playing that and really enjoying it. Good graphics, nice gameplay, and the scenery was to die for. If not you could always revive the guild rpg. Sorry, it was worth a shot.
But yeah, Ocean Star is the only one I can remember I don't see on the list.

Heh, I saw that Ocar. xp Even if I did revive the guild RP, there are not enough active members to keep it going. It'll be far too boring with just 2-3 members posting in the RP, at least for me it would be. Plus, it was a lot of work and to be quite honest, I'm just not interested in it anymore.
You mean Star Ocean? Yeah, I downloaded that yesterday along with a few other RPG's I found. Breath of Fire 1 and 2, Lufia 1 and 2, Secret of Mana 1 and 2, Secret of Evermore. I think that was it really...those were all for the Super NES, I still haven't checked any of the Sega Genesis RPGs or Sega CD ones yet.

Well there's Xenosaga; thats a good one. I haven't played the prequel though, Xenogears. Those are for the PS1 and PS2.
Suikoden series - PS1 and PS2.
And I think you'll really like the Shadow Hearts series, at least 1 and 2. Dark and exciting. Don't wiki it, just play it cuz it will spoil. >_<

Nice suggestioms Lion, I've played Xenogears once before and that was one of the best RPG's I've ever played. However, one prob... sweatdrop I don't have a ps2 or a ps1 emulator...I sold my ps3 awhile back to cover for some bills and now I don't have an actual game system anymore, nor can I afford one for that matter...so I just use emulators downloaded off the internet, which is why I ask for RPG suggestions for the above named systems in one of my last posts.
I found this rather interesting RPG for the Sega CD called Dark Wizard. The gameplay graphics are pretty simplistic, but the anime cutscenes rock. Akira Toriyama helped with the animation for that game, so the characters look very Dragonball Z-ish like Chrono Trigger. That one is definately worth a look. 3nodding
I finally beat the boss I was stuck on in Tales of Phantasia! mrgreen My God he was ridiculously hard (6 or so tries it took me to beat him), pretty much everyone in my party died except for the main guy and I barely beat him with him....I thought he was the last boss but....turned out that now I have to go into the future to fight him again >,< cause apparently he survived. So yeah...I had a helluva time trying to beat him that time...I have no idea how I'm gonna beat him again. gonk Jesus, he reminds me of Mortamus, just keeps coming back! sweatdrop This is gonna be the third time fighting this guy in the game...ugh..

Opps. sweatdrop Well, whenever you get the chance, you should play the Shadow Hearts series.
That ToP boss sounds more like Sephiroth to me for some reason...probably cuz of FF7 and Kingdom Hearts. O_o
I never had a Sega system; all I got is the original Nintendo, Super Nintendo, 3DO, and my PS1. I'll probably have to find a emulator online when I got time. 3nodding

lol, I never had a super NES when growing up. I grew up on sega systems. I noticed that sega games have a lot more side-scrolling type adventure/action games then it does RPG's. His voice is annoying, but I thought he was pretty cool, he has powerful spells that wipe out lots of your opponent's soldiers. He's the villain character too obviously lol. The rest are good guys.
