@Loli, Well, I don't think you HAVE to find a picture. I short description would be enough too. "8pound blonde green eyed male baby" would be enough. I'm all for description lol.There used to be a time where pictures in RPs were SHUN upon! SHUUUN-NEH.

Haha yeah, I always used pictures too for the same reason. 4 paragraphs of physical descriptions was getting boring. But still, I find it funny how, when Gaia started (oh the good old Go-Gaia time), it was description only, then a year or two after, they started to put pictures in profiles. Then I'd say sometime between 2007 and 2008, people started putting one picture in their posts (like most of us do right now) and then, about a year ago, it started being super fancy posts everywhere....
WHAT HAPPEN TO SIMPLICITY 
Just, wondering, that's all.

I wasn't on Gaia back when it started and pictures were frowned upon. I guess I've been on for about maybe three years now...? I do remember back before fancy posts with pictures and color though.

Haha yeah, I've been here since Gaia started... well, back then it wasn't even called Gaiaonline, it was Go-Gaia and pretty much just a link website with 1 very basic forum. Then they added avatars instead of picture, then there was barton shop and... all hell broke loose.
I also used to have an original Halo that I sold for something like 30K, having knew back then >>

I've been on Gaia like 4 years. >_> Even though I would've been 11. xD I think I started RPing when I was like 9 on Neopets, then gradually moved over here lol.

IT'S HORRIBLE. SO MUCH CODING. SO MUCH. *fetal position* Seriously though, the guilds on Neopets are either so horrible you want to punch it through the computer screen or so advanced and horrifically amazing that you want to punch it through the world.

It's not the guilds that bother me as much as the RP forums....
Those links with all the character information put on the pet page with pictures of the same scene queens as every character...... I have nothing against people if that's their style and what-not but when everyone's character looks and acts the same...

I started on neopets too! But I'm honestly kinda afraid as to go back on there haha. And if I did I would go play games and get frustrated when I can't win haha.
