This weekend I started dating Matt, my amazing hobbit boy.
I just graduated with an Associate's in Science.
My interview went great, the director was impressed with all my certifications. I might get to volunteer in an ER!

Merry Christmas to me. Most amazing month ever.

I just got unfairly fired from my job... Another kick telling me I should just stay down. I tried one last time to take it easy, reflect. But no. None of that remedies anything. And it never will. So, if you'll excuse me, the pain in my chest is telling me I still have a hell of a lot more tears to soak my pillows with for the next coming days.

That's real swell, mom and dad, you fighting as the holidays draw near. Make another fight between eachother, yep, just ruin the holidays for me by once again fighting over something stupid.

Sometimes it is simply best to feel like crap for a while. Life gets better in the little ways slowly but surely, or rather there will be times when things are good amongst the s**t, or perhaps simply slightly less s**t. People might tell you otherwise but sometimes I feel getting used to being miserable and just trooping on through it is a better remedy than all the "think positive" crap people like to tell you. What happens when you can't? When your brain is programmed to constantly think you are not worthy? And have like zero self esteem, the "think positive and you are awesome" stuff doesn't work. And I have no solution for you to make it better, other than that we are all here when and if you need to rant.

I'll shut up now cause I think I'm rambling a pile of s**t again...

Thank you, thank you. THANK YOU!
"Just think positive" is so impersonal and generic. I feel like it's a brush off to make most people feel like they helped someone that day. Most don't take the time to understand that some people are so used to feeling crummy, that as you said, they simply can't think that way. So I thank you, for understanding. <3

Firstly sorry its taken me a while to get back to this, phone doesn't like to let me try and make writing white for some reason.

And I understand because I'm the same. I feel crap a lot of the time and I can't help feeling like I'm not worth it a lot, so I know where you are coming from. But I also know that its worse at some times than others and usually it improves, sure it might get crappy again but you need to hold onto those better days/weeks/months however long they are heart

Do you bury me when I'm gone?
Do you teach me while I'm here?

I think something's broken in my speech center. I need to see someone about this...

Just as soon as I belong
Then it's time I disappear

Good for you, I remember you hating the job from the very start so I'm glad you finally were able to get out from a bad job. I hope the next job you get is a LOT better! smile
