DarkElf27 Nomads were the Arabic-themed ones, right? I liked those, played a demo a few months back. Didn't like Infinity because of how powerful alpha-striking could be, but it made for a more realistic skirmish game where position -really- matters. Baka! Nomads are the space hobos of the setting, Haqqislam is the faction you're referring to. xp A long time ago I went with Ariadna before well, binning most of it because of poorly translated rules and a nigh-on dead player base. Still waiting on that Luxumbra Kickstarter to wrap up and deliver me my pilot. emo

Infinity is what happens when a bunch of Spanish weebs start a gaming company. Most of the super goofy models are promos. For their mainline units, there's at least -some- consistency in the art direction. Plus, Scottish Werewolf Commandos. The relationship just ran its lifespan, I think. So...yeah. Jason Kharo Mac's here, and I haven't seen hide nor hair of Winnie in years. But others may know.

Which is the best description possible for Corvus Belli in all honesty, just add in a dash of occasional hostility towards their own fan base. rofl Bunch of anime / cyberpunk fanboys who threw a lot of everything together without doing a lot of research (the Haqqislam as a whole usually makes for heated debate), Vatican ruling the earth alongside Sikhs or the idea that there is a planet out there populated with Americans, Russians, French and Scots, beset on all sides by murder wolves, but who at least happen to own the last working Coca Cola factory in the galaxy to make up for the wolf attacks. And I hate it that all these years Ariadna does not have access to TAG's, at least until the end of this year (hopefully), when they finally release the Blackjack. The model range is a mixed bag for me personally, some models are just straight up sticking out (the "thongs are standard issue" Tech Bee) or are nice models with awkward poses, like most female models holding a shotgun.. talk2hand Then there are the sculpts I really like, like the KS-exclusive (fukken assholes!) O-Yoroi pilot and the Bootleg Lizard pilot, which I've turned into a tank commander for my Horus Heresy army: My own take is spoilered because I can never paint anywhere near as good as Angel.

Jason Kharo Seems we're having a bit of a reunion. mrgreen Nice seeing this place is still up and running, spent a lot of my teenage years here, learning how to roleplay (badly) and chatting about 40k. DE, Cale and Vik, nice to see you guys are still here. Are Mac and Blodwyn still about? Still kicking! Lt. Brookman = BrookM in case you missed it, I've talked to Winnie once or twice in the last few years but for the most part I think she's moved on to other things. How 'bout you, life treating you alright?

My cousin did a demo game for me about six months ago, the minis looked alright if a bit conservative, lacked some personality IMHO. Then again he hadn't painted them, so who knows? The subtle differences between factions were a bit beyond me in that short intro.

DarkElf27 The subtle differences between factions were a bit beyond me in that short intro. The factions all have their own thing going for them, though there is a general theme to them all. PanO - Sikhs in space - Knightly Orders in space Yu Jing - Ninjas in space - Celestial Court in space - Imperial Japan in space Ariadna - America in space - Scotland in space - Russia in space - France in space - Furries in space Haqqislam - Islam in space - Assassin's Creed in space Nomads - Recent pop culture in space - Nuns in space Aleph - Ghost in the Shell in space - Ancient Greece in space Combined Army - Filthy space aliens Tohaa - Less filthy space aliens Mercenaries - Famous historical figures in space - Thinly veiled pop culture icons in space Okay, I kid. But most factions have mainly the same tech / equipment such as power armour, mini-mecha, hackers and the like, which leads to first time players / spectators to not see a whole lot of difference in the factions, outside of one side being brightly coloured red, while the other is neon green.

1. Dark Angels have "Imperium" keyword. 2. Cypher and Fallen have "Imperium" keyword. 3. Both don´t have rules for not allowing "Dark Angels" and "Fallen" being together in Battle Forged Army. .....Untill Chapter Approve/Dark Angel codex comes up.... crying

As is, things right now are a patchwork of hotfixes and quick solutions that allow for the broadest implementation.
The story has been moving forward, while I am not 100% up to speed on the current goings on, Cypher did help the Imperium out big time, maybe Guilleman himself has declared them allies not to be touched by the inquisition or others?
Or could this be just as planned. ninja

Just thought to play this silly list untill Ad-Mech book comes in 2 weeks. :3

When your friend gets you some art, complete with official certificate (and tiny veteran for scale), but it turns out to be too big for the intended wall.. So you remove a display cabinet and put it there instead. Worth it.
