If all you're doing is loading webpages, then I suggest downloading Freegate. Google it and select the first response. If you're using Internet Explorer, when you start Freegate, it should open up an IE window thats proxified and it shouldnt be blocked by openDNS.
I'd suggest downloading that to a flash drive if you have one.

Also if you just look up Proxy Server, you'll usually find a bunch of good ones.

You could always just use a internet based proxy server. See what your program is doing right now is blocking a DNS name. Your computer pings it with a Hello packet, it sends a hello packet back, so now they know the fastest path in order to communicate. Then your computer requests the information, the information is sent and most everything has a DNS name so it makes it easier to get to. No one wants to remember the IP addresses to the websites.
So either swap out the web address with the websites IP address, or go to a online proxy server and it'll bring up websites remotely so that your computer can't block it

I Pinged it through Command Prompt, however if you are using Linux, you should be able to ping it through HyperTerminal

I Dark Lotus I Okay, I'm finally done hearing the stuff. OMFG You guys don't know what you are talking about. Do you even know what a DNS server does? Domain Name System, it assigns names to IP addresses, it doesn't bypass anything. So like, if you make a network and you want to be able to ping things by a name such as gaiaonline, you'd be able to do that instead of typing out an IP address. >.< Okay, now Bone what is the problem and I'll assist you with it. Plus its not Lynix its Linux. -sigh- Sorry guys, its just I have a Masters in this and its fairly irritating just sitting by and watching you butcher the computer field. >.< Actually, I just went straight to the OpenDNS site and found the above bypass which has been proven to work... also, If I he uses At&t for his internet service provider they have an option to allow you to bypass blocks and etc. if you go to the control panel, type in your Ip Address, and open your account settings. It gives you the option to use a desginated proxy server.
