Isn't there something else we would need for Blackest Night? From what I've heard we would also need a number of dead Supers for it to work correctly.

Well, I wanted to do the Time Traveling arch but oh well, looks like it'll be Saw *starts thinking up assorted traps and schemes* In other news, this is why Pizza Hut is awesome.

Eric: That's only seven of us who have voted out of the, what, 15-20? Just give it a bit, it's all led into by this Halloween arc of yours (which I still would like some information on) and I'm not saying I'm not interested in your LiT arc.
Kujo: Any character brought back by Nekron that nobody takes will be played by myself.
And as for the Blackest Night arc, I would love to tie it to any holiday arc, it doesn't have to be Halloween. Any holiday would do because those are the days when emotions run the highest.

Psychoholic Slag Any character brought back by Nekron that nobody takes will be played by myself. True, but before Blackest Night DC took the opportunity kill off a dozen or more characters to be reborn as Black Lanterns later.

After reflecting on it, I've determined I'm definitely going to assume the role of Hal Jordan, and I want to get into the role before Blackest Night begins so I'm warmed up a little bit before the story-laden stuff really commences.
That said, I concur with the idea of Halloween leading into the Game and then into Blackest Night. Lots of people could die during The Game and it would be perfect, because their bodies would just vanish when they rose. Then not only would we have plenty of characters reborn as Black Lanterns but with bodies mysteriously vanishing it would set a really unsettling tone for the whole thing. Blackest Night could take place around Christmas time too, with The Game sometime in November.
That's three solid arcs of creepiness! I've never loved an idea so much in my life! The only way it could be better is if Scarecrow made an appearance, preferably in New Batman Adventures form. Who was playing Scarecrow?

Wait a minute! The DCU thread is two or three months behind Young Justice, which is in May-June right now, that would put this thread about March. I like the Halloween idea, but are we really going to skip six months? eek

I thought The Game would be the Halloween arch... Lost in Time. The Game. Blackest Night. or The Game. Blackest Night. Lost in Time.

That is kind of a long time.... But if there were any events during the summertime where Young Justice is taking place then it stands to reason that they'd be called to lend a hand, so it can be surmised that the only events of note during this period ARE the things that Young Justice is handling.
So it's not really such a skip since we have Young Justice filling in the space. The teens can cameo here to show what they're doing between Young Justice arcs, adults can cameo there to show what they're doing between DCU arcs, and the full year is getting more or less filled in.

Because it's the same universe? Young Justice is headquartered in the Gotham Clocktower. They're there all the time, there's bound to be some cross-continuity. Powergirl has already made an appearance in YJ, and I imagine Robin could very well be splitting time between YJ and patrolling with Batman.

They both have really good points there, Eric.
But I've never really liked the idea of having one thread being ahead of another chronologically, especially since it's the same universe. If it was an alternate timeline where the characters from both never intermingled, I'd be okay with it, but if we do this jump forward, then we could have it so that they'd be a lot closer in time. . .
Does that make sense to anybody but me?
