@Digi: For once it doesn't seem like a popularity contest.Well, most of the death bands I really like, at least. And I already listen to them too, I just didn't feel like having more than one example. Also, I like Quo Vadis better, even though they aren't as "classically regarded". xp

Also, I like Quo Vadis better, even though they aren't as "classically regarded". xp I'm not especially fond of them, to be honest. I by no means dislike them, but they're kind of "meh" to me--nothing special. For me, death metal doesn't get any better than the Swedish scene (melodic and otherwise) from the early to mid '90s. I've never been very attracted to USDM, with a few exceptions.

Digital Malevolence You ever listen to the Swedish, Death/Thrash group, Incapacity? All I know of them is that Scar Symmetry's ex-vocalist is part of the band now, I haven't really listened to them. Are they something worth hearing?

I was referring to Christian. I don't recall him ever doing anything other than vox with Scar Symmetry. confused I think he plays rhythm guitar as well as does the vox for Incapacity.
Thanks for the offer, I'll look into them a bit more. I just listened to "Grand Future Disease" via YouTube--wasn't bad at all. I just wish the production was...well, a little lower-fi. sweatdrop
