Angel pulled out her saber, activated it, and assumed an offensive stance. She then jumped towards the Dark Lord, her saber in position for an overhead swing, but at the last second, brought it down into a thrust position, hoping to catch him off guard.

Imperius countered, but stumbled back. He dropped into a crouch, and whirled into a flurry of thrusts and swipes.

((Angelic: It doesn't matter...
Everyone else: The story of the Vor' Na' Tu'... in Stereo!))

"Well, yes the clone wars could be said to start on Geonosis. It was what I like to call the immediate cause. However, it wasn't the underlying cause. I probably shouldn't babble. I used to help younglings out with history, specifically war, so i was unofficially the teacher. But that where it "started", but not where it "began", so to speak."

Neb shifted in his seat, before continuing on. "Before we get too enraptured with the subject of Geonosis, I'll tell you why we're going there. I know you're already curious anyway. We need to find some.... wreckage. Long time ago, a small craft wrecked on this planet... And it was carrying something very important. A holocron to be precise. It was known only to the council, but due to events during the time it crashed, nobody could waste time on it, or at least, didn't realise the value of such an endeavor. Its been sitting there for over three decades, and I don't know what to expect from the planet. It's still there. Its not hard to know that."

Neb paused once again. "The holocron is the Tan' Sa' Qua'. Long ago, well, not too long ago, Leia Organa, before the marriage to Han Solo and the kids and New republic, was sent by a jedi by the name of Echuu Shen-Jon. He was a very powerful Jedi Knight. In fact, this will make a good history lesson for you and pass the time with another one of my famous hyperspace stories... Where was I? Oh yes, Echuu. As we all know, the jedi were hunted to extinction nearly, and only with some help did they all not get slaughtered. Unbeknownst to Yoda and Obi-wan, some did manage to survive. Echuu was one of the few. He and Leia Met on Kothlis, known for the Bothan Spynet, as well as being neutral. This was about... 16 years ago, before the infamous Battle of Yavin. Her ship had crashed and was being persued by the Empire. To cut some time off, she had retrieved the information she required, and headed with Echuu to recover an artifact called the Vor' Na' Tu'. It was a holocron of power, and I personally believe that it contained the blueprints for a Star Forge, though nobody really knows for sure anymore. Anyways, Echuu and Leia, with the help of Attchichutchuk and the wookies, recaptured the holocron. Vader cut Echuu down in the process, but the holocron was safely destroyed... Well, broken into four pieces which eventually refound their way back to the same asteroid that the Alliance stole it from. About ten years later, or six years ago, Luke and Leia had to refind these shards. Though successful, the shards when reunited dissolved, and scattered to the winds in the form of dust. Now what we are after is the sister holocron of the Vor' Na' Tu'. I dont' know what it contains, but it needs to be recovered. Now is the time we shall strike and retrieve it. The Tan' Sa' Qua' is known as the "Devil's Tears", and it is my estimation that we dont' want to know what knowledge it possesses."

Neb checked a blinking light, before suddenly pepping back up. "We've arrived at Geonosis, now we are to land."

Angel was slightly suprised, thinking she had actually made a clever move, but found herself backing out into a defensive position trying to dodge and parry the Dark Lord's attacks. While blocking attack after attack, she thought she found an opening and made a quick sidestep and got behind him. Without pausing, she spun around while swinging her saber, attempting to hit him from behind.

((we're a few wdays...okay weeks late for goenosis so ill speed this up))

Imperius felt a burning and realized Valycia had clipped his jacket. Enraged, he let his emotions fuel his actions and fought relentlessly against Valycia, who parried them with grace. After an intense battle, the alarms sounded and Imperius dde-ignited his lightsaber, and attended to the landing process.

Half an hour later, they were standing on the dust red wasteland that started the Empire.

Mordranna listened to Neb thoughtfully as he recounted the tale. Sitting back in her chair, she mused, "I can't say I know for sure what a Star Forge is," she began. "Of course, I imagine that something like that is mighty powerful," She then continued. "And, I imagine that this 'Devil Tear' you've mentioned may have comparable things on it."
Allowing herself a brief pause before continuing on, she then ventured, "And, I imagine that such a thing is not something you would want in Imperial and/or Sith hands," She cringed slightly, being all too familiar with Imperial ways, a familiarity she sometimes wished she didn't have.
Mordranna also allowed herself a slight whistle as her sapphire gaze surveyed the rocky expanse of Geonosian landscape, particularly as the craft came closer to said rocky landscape.

After some time of dueling with the Dark Lord, and finally arriving at their destination of Geonosis, Angel disembarked the ship with the Dark Lord and looked at their surroundings. " So, this is Geonosis, where it all began... And, where it is about to begin again... " Angel said, feeling that they were now nearing the end of the calm before the storm.

((errr... what reason would us non-jedi folk have for coming there? being that we have no force-aided intuition to know where we should go? o.o; ))

((crap. originally when we planned this, it worked because you had a hit on Nelo...))

Imperius surveyed the dreary landscape and laughed.

"Now, we wait. The Imperial traitors will arrive soon bearing the codes."

As the words escaped his mouth, a looming Venator-class Star Destroyer, one of the last surviving, emerged from hyperspace.

The Imperial commander emerged bearing the data-disc holding the codes.

"Excellent, Commander" said Imperius, "but, If you were a traitor to the Remnant, how am I to know you are not a traitor to me?" he snarled.

The Commander lookeed flabbergasted and stuttered, but an instant later his severed head lay on the ground.

"Valycia, I want you to stay here at the Red Tempest and subjugate the crew. I will be in the Eclipdra readying the ship for the journey to the other hemisphere. Join me when the crew is...understanding."

Neb landed the craft, and walked out of the ship.

"Well, the star forge in inself is a long story, but to summarize, it was a manufacturing plant that fed on the dark side of the force to build ships, buildings, you name it. However, my suspicions are that the Devil's Tear is far more... elusive. Not a big thing like the star forge, I believe it holds the key to an elixir. This elixir would thereinto give great strength, or possibly, hold the key to life unhindered. Immortality. But the elixir feeds off the light side of the force, and would create serious problems for users of the Dark Side. And I have thought why bother with the trouble to retrieving it if they can't use it? Well, we don't know for sure. Either way, now is the time to focus on our task, more than our stories and theories."

Neb made his way silent for the next two miles, until the group stood on a ledge. There, a small fighter-class ship, long stripped and corroded sat. Neb shrugged, as he went to work disassembling the ship.

Mordranna also followed along, and aided where she could in taking apart the wrecked old ship. She briefly allowed herself a weak smile at his admonition, similar to those of other masters. Be mindful of the present,
Of course, she wondered if the holocron would indeed be here, seeing as it was little more than the skeleton of a ship. Even so, would anyone else truly know to look for a holocron here?
As she looked through the remants of the ship, and the pieces she'd taken out, she thoughtfully asked "This holocron probably wouldn't look anything like these, would it?" Her gaze also looked about the landscape as the others worked, scanning for anything that looked suspicious.

Selkisto was cruising through subspace, getting some target practice in the rings of a planet he'd never heard of before, but happened to be on his way back to Yavin. He'd planned on trying to catch up with that Jedi, and decided to see how far his new fighter could push its limits.

He angled through a narrow passage between two large rocks, weaving in and out deftly as he concentrated, increasing speed as much as possible. He continued in this way, taking more and more risks, until an event the techs had warned him about occured.

The reactor for the ion engines overheated.

In a very short time, Selkisto's fighter was battling through the atmosphere and came to a rough stop on a high, sandy ledge on a desolate, red planet.
