Miu nodded. "Let's hope this works. Even if I fly you up there, she might attack you..." Miu said. She watched as the two slowly came down. "Maybe we won't have to fly if they come low enough" she said.

The flare from Leila's eyes melted as she spotted the image of Haucon, holding her dearest sibling in his arms, her jaw slowly falling open as her fangs returned to their normal shape. Claws retracted, the blood still ran down her fingers from gripping the scythe blade. The sight caused her anger to disappear as quickly as it came, and she now realized what she was doing...what she had done. She spotted the rake marks across Liam's chest and his hand impaled on her hair, noticing that his eyes were still black...the way they were earlier. Gritting her teeth, she released the scythe and grabbed onto his arms instead. "Release Liam from your grasp, foul apparition! He is not yours to claim!" she screamed in a voice she never thought she had, her eyes focused onto his, refusing to let go until she saw some result of her words. "HE IS NOT YOURS TO CLAIM!"

Holly tensed as she saw the fight suddenly escalate. However, she relaxed as she saw Haucon cast his illusion and bring Leia back to her senses. She replied to Dream with a small smile, eyes still on the fight above, "I don't believe so now. I think that Leia's got it covered now."

"It worked" Miu happily said as she watched Leila calm down. "Good job Haucon... for making her calm down" she nodded to Haucon.

A smile spread across Haucon's face as the anger fled from Leila's. He was vaguely aware of the angel congratulating him. He turned to her and smiled. "Thanks." he said with a sigh of relief. Looking back up her realized that Leila was trying to exorcise Liam. "Can she do that?" he asked the angel beside him. She was still bleeding, and so was Liam, and both looked worse for wear. He hoped they'd come down soon. Haucon allowed the illusion to shatter completely, now that Leila was back in her senses. It evaporated like smoke and disappeared, giving Haucon a bit more strength.

He smiled. Haucon had come through, and Leila was fine. Now for Liam... Hopefully Leila would be able to destroy the evil claiming him. "I think you're right. They've got it under control."

As their feet finally touched the rooftop, Liam was awed at how quickly Leila had gained control over herself. But when she gripped at his arms, his arms covered in the demonic symbols, he frowned. His hands slowly let go of her hair, deep cuts on his hands were the result of the sharp locks. His eyebrows pulled together in what seemed to be confusion as her words droned inside of his head. 'He is not your's to claim'. He found his hands grasping at her arms tightly after dropping the heavy scythe with a loud clang, but not as an offensive action, as a sort of desperation. He felt guilt, not only for the fact that he had fought her, but for the fact that she was trying to help him and he couldn't let go of the darkness, or the darkness wouldn't let go of him. He fought back though, and even though he couldn't get rid of it, he could still fight it off for the time being. The black in his eyes reduced to his irises and slowly faded until the cloudy gray of his eyes shown. His eyes went to hers looking from one to the other. His hands loosened from her arms and hung limply at his sides.

((Hi Hi Hi! sorry i haven't posted for the past three weeks but i've been on holiday without much internet access. I've read from where we started up again so i think i get whats happened but if i miss anything give me a shout/hit me on the head and i'll sort it. kk?))
Violet burst into laughter as she neared the others still on the ground. Looking up at the roof where the fighting had been going on she chuckled. "I leave you alone for five minutes and you start fighting in public. Not a very good message to give to the demons wondering around," Shaking her head she raised her voice to yell to Liam. "Come on! We've got work to do and picking a fight with these illogical fools won't get it done!"

"Liam..." Gudrun called out to him, glad to see that the darkness had retreated into him, yet still upset that she wasn't able to get rid of it entirely. Her hair relaxed, returning to normal as she still gripped onto his arms to keep her from falling to her doom. "You need to land, Liam..." she whispered to him, hoping it would bring some sense to him. She had expended too much of her energy too quickly, and maintaining flight with her hair would drain her completely. She could now only hang from his arms, hoping she could remain conscious long enough for him to put her down.

Liam let out a stifled breath as Leila talked, looking down at the ground in consideration. He let her hands slip down his arms to his bloody hands, not even grimacing from the stinging pain. He flew down to the pavement and set her down on her feet, readying himself to catch her if she was unbalanced. But then he heard Violet calling out to him, and he jerked his head to face her. He sighed and turned back to Leila, sitting her down so he was sure she couldn't fall. He stood back up and looked around, finding his long cloth bandage lying on the ground. He walked over to it and tore it in half, wrapping it around his hands. The bandage had once covered his arms, until it was moved to his waist where the blistered cross remained, but when Leila had clawed it off it had fallen to the ground. He made his way over to Violet, looking over his shoulder at Leila, feeling guilt for leaving her. But he didn't turn and walk back to her, he remained next to Violet, nodding at her.

Violet's grin widened as Liam stood by her side, though her emerald eyes studied his cut and blistered body. "You going to be alright? You look like a walking piece of hell," she pointed out softly, the closest she'd probably get to being concerned. She didn't seem to be worried about Leila, even though she was a demon she hadn't responded to the calling dark, making her no better then the others.

"That's because I am," he mumbled, looking down at his battered body. "I'll be fine," he said a little louder, and he would be. He had tried to let himself die multiple times, but nothing ever worked, he simply healed and that was that. He looked up at her emerald eyes and waited for her to move.

Leila slumped to the ground as Liam lowered her, distraught by the fact that Violet was gone as well. There was nothing else she could do, not in this state or any other.
I'm useless....
"Liam, don't..." she managed to mumble through the lump caught in her throat. "Don't do this...or I will have to fight you again. And I won't be alone this time. I know you don't want to hurt any of us..." Her hair curled around her shoulders to stop herself from shaking, not from cold, but from the sheer frustration of not being able to do anything to stop this.

Violet nodded to Liam, and began to walk away when she heard Leila calling the angelic demon back. Turning her head on a strange angle her grin seemed to mock the demonic girl. She looked as if she were in no position to fight, and even if she weren't alone it would make no difference. "The dark will always be stronger, no matter how far back it's pushed it never goes away completly. You should be on our side...so why are you choosing to fight for a loosing side?" she said softly, real confusion in her voice. Violet couldn't understand how the world had gone mad, the earth seemed to be obsessed with technology, yet no one seemed to grasp logic.

"I don't know. I've never really seen anything like this. And I'm not really an experianced angel. Most angels would probably have attacked the demons but... Well anyways let's go down to the others" Anglie smiled, pointing at Leila, Violet and Liam.
