Exo grabbed the bag and drew his guitar. "You're in for it now!" Exo hacked 'n' slashed his way through the enemies. Then, from out of the sky, a demon scooped Exo up and threw him into the movie theater. Because the demon was black, it was hard for Exo to see. Chaos spread throughout the entire theater and the movie goers rushed out of the theater in a hurry. The demon grabbed Exo and slammed him into the ground, hard. "Is that the best you can do?" Exo got up slowly with a slight smile on his face. "I've been waiting to fight all week!" A brutal battle was engaged.

Pilata, meanwhile, was trying to get the civilians to safety, blasting at any demons that came near.
"Everyone, stay calm!" she shouted, "Please exit the theater in an orderly manner!"

Exo killed the demon and ran outside to find Pilata. Just then, a demon swooped down and grabbed a little boy, no older than 10 or 11. Exo lodged his sword into the ground and used it to spring in the air and go after him. Exo used one hand to grab the boy by the collar and the other to grab the demon's leg. He pulled the boy from the demon's grip and hurled the demo to the ground. Exo and the boy began spiraling towards the ground.

Pilata saw the two tumbling from the sky and screamed. Instantly, she ran to the curtains around the screen and pulled one out as a makeshift safety net.

Exo and the boy landed safely onto the curtain. "Is there anything you can't do?" Exo smiled and asked Pilata. "Look in Monty's spell book and see if there's anything on these guys!" Exo took the boy to his mother and continued fighting.

"I can't ace Bio," Pilata winked, paging through the spellbook, "Let's see, demons. Are often summonded by dark mages and those who meddle with forces they cannot comprehend. Can be vanished by the one who cast the spell, by human sacrifice, or by a light blade."

"Yo guy!!!" Exo called out to the man who summoned the demons. he had escaped and was long gone. "Well, unless we kill somebody, we're gonna have to find a light blade. Is there a Light spell? You could shoot the light energy at my sword, creating a Light Blade

Pilata bit her lip. "I'll try," she said, determined, reading through the book as quickly as possible, "Light spells - aha! This should work. Luminare!" she yelled, pointing to the sword.

A beam of light emerged from Pilata's hand and hit the sword. Exo's Melody Blade was now covered in a Light barrier. He lifted the blade high in the air and struck the ground with great force. Enormous light waves flew throughout the city, killing all of the demons without harming a single person. Exo smiled and gave Pilata a thumb up.

"I have to find that guy again. He was to be stopped. And there's only one way to do it!" Exo kissed Pilata on the forehead and put his blade on his back. "I'll be back..." he said just before he ran off.

Pilata sighed. "I could have helped him," she said to herself, looking around but not seeing him, "But I guess this has to be between him and the other guy."
She looked up. "I know! I'll start searching for the stone!"

Exo went to the school, which was now in ruins. There was a sign that said, "To be rebuilt at 9:00 pm..." "Are you looking for me?" the man appeared behind Exo. "How dare you show your face? I should kill you where you stand!" Exo said angrily. The man could sense the intense anger in Exo's voice. "Temper, temper. Your inner rage shouldn't be displayed all at once. Isn't that why you were banned from Phoenix City?" the man fed into Exo's rage. "A lot of people probably got hurt because of you. There is no other way..." Exo charged at the man with his sword ready. The man held his hand out and Exo's sword changed into a liquid. "I've been observing you and your friends..." "Who---What are you?" Exo asked. "If Pilata's the light, then I'll be the dark..." the man laughed.

"It'd help if I knew more about it," Pilata murmured, "Then I could figure out where it'd be used, and take it back! I better do a bit of research."
So, Pilata headed off the the occult section of the library.

The man created numerous portals (just like Monty) and jumped into one. Exo had no idea which one he was going to jump out of. The man shot out of a portal and punched Exo in the chest. He then grabbed Exo's face and slammed him into the ground repeatedly. "Give in to the darkness. The anger inside of you could be very useful to me and my Lord..." the man said while still holding Exo's face. Exo broke free and said, "Bot a chance!" "I guess we'll just have to force it out of you..." The man snapped his fingers and three creatures suited with the same armor Monty was trapped in appeared. "Find Pilata and bring her to me..." Exo wondered, "Is Monty gonna turn into one of those creatures?"
