Silver was a partialy etherial being, so turning him partially to stone would only make him entirly physical. A little annoying, yes, but not earth shattering. The major disadvantage would be the powder. His very blood was enfused with magic, and just a few seconds in an antimagic barrier could effect him for hours afterward.

He felt the unbearable suppression of his abilities as he took a deep breath. Jumping into the ocean, he would charge his magical energies throughout his body as soon as the powder dissolved. if this was successful, Chris would be a very, very unhappy earth elementalist.

Even as the dust mixed into the water, the stonification didn't stop. In fact, it started turning the water in a close proximity to Silver to a watery cement, which trapped Silver further. Chris however, was a good half mile away now, and was nearly exhausted. He stopped the spell, so Silver would probably have his arms and left leg and crotch encased in stone, and have to swim against a half-ton of liquid cement.

Silver wasn't going to stand for this. Though weakened by the antimagic, he had enough power to easily escape this situation. He used his pure energy to break the rock off him. Focusing his magical essence carefully, he made it so that the stone and cementy water's densitys were lighter than that of the water, so they floated to the surface. Using the stone as a crude and small platform, he climbed up and looked towards his boat, which was pretty far off.

Pfft. I could jump it.

He bent his knees and jumped off, using his magical energies to help propel him into the air. Reaching a hieght of 875 feet, he looked towards his boat and grinned; he could easily land anywhere on his vessel, no matter if it speed up or turned slightly. There was very little chance of Chris noticeing him as he landed in the crows nest.

Except Chris could notice the travelling magic, not to mention the huge amount of whistling Silver made as he flew. So before Silver was within 100 feet of the boat, he created a huge ball of stone about twice the size of a cannonball and hurled it at him, probably knocking him backwards a good 50 feet. He threw two more balls this size. And then yet another strange thing happened, Chris' legs sunk into the boat, and the boat somehow sprouted big wooden legs, which then jumped the boat out of the water, and running at 45 miles an hour at a right angle from where it had jumped out.

Silver was glad he wwas holding the spear. It had a nice dual edge, so he could use it for slashing as well as piercing. Using his magical energies to help cleave the bolders in half, there was only a matter of landing. Instead of landing on the water...

His feet hit the surface. If one were to look carefully, his feet were covered with transparent green "boots". Running on the surface of the water at unhuman speeds, he went in hot pursuit of his ship.

He's gonna take it onto the coast! How am I going to get it back into the water?

All this huge spell stuff finally took its toll on Chris, as he failed to make it on land. He collapsed, and then slid off the boat into the water. Totally KO'd, he began to drift, the tides taking him to Godknowswhere.

Wow... that makes things marginably easier.

Silver was more merciful than what might be expected. He pushed Chris towards Latent, where he would undoubtably reach shore. Getting back onto his boat, he used the last of his power to get it back on the right course.

Alright then... Onward to Guldor!

((And onward to the sea thread))

Enki Leviathan
Naturally, transferring gold of that sum to regional currency will take some time. I hope you will not mind a slight wait.

Mr. Black reaches out and takes the signed papers from the Leviathan; folding them over and tucking them back within the breast of his coat while maintaining that same broad smile that he had worn since his arrival.

"No problems at all, Mr. Leviathan, none at all," the man said amiably, "Simply have a payment of 20% ready by Tuesday, when the heavy equipment should be arriving."

"Now, unless you have other questions or other business with me, I should be bringing these to the propper channels...?"

Tellus and Samantha continued watching the two men out the window of the pub, not quite certain what was going on but intrigued none the less. Tellus for her vixen nature, Smantha for undisclosed reasons. Seeing Tellus watch her father wistfully, Samantha got up and walked towards the door of the pub to get a closer look at the cartoonish like man.

"I have to know if it's him..."

She straightened her hair back into it's perfect coif and made sure her glasses covered her bright green eyes completely. The quiant little G corp pin remained affixed to her suit jacket as she leaned against the building not 20 feet from where James Black and Enki Leviathan discussed business,g rateful that it was actually a rather quiet town and she could listen in.

"Ehh..." Mr. Black muttered, reaching his left hand up behind his head and scratching the back of his neck. "Don't you just hate it when you can't get any privacy, Mr. Leviathan...?

He didn't turn, nor walk away, but turned his hand back; so that the back of his hand was against the back of his neck, and very subtly beckoned the interloping woman to come over; the gesture out of sight from the Leviathan.

Samantha's hand reached down and smoothed her polyster skirt selfconciously as she stepped forward. What was it about the comical man that still commanded her attention. She stopped quickly but after taking another glance at Tellus who was making motions of encouragement she stepped forward once more, her slim hand reaching up to touch the G corp pin reassuringly before her shoulders straightened and she strode forward, stopping only stopping a few feet away yet again.

"Excuse me for interrrupting. I was looking for .." her fingers running over the Gcorp pin for amoment right before it slipped and fell to the ground, rolling around like a dropped penny before landing near James Blacks foot.

"Er...I'm sorry.."

She bent down and reached for the pin at a complete loss for words now.

"Mr. Leviathan?" James said, letting his arm fall back to his side and letting his hands slip inside the pockets on the sides of his coat. He looked down at the woman, but did not stoop to help her.

"...I don't really see why you'd have any business with me, Samantha. Unless you wanted something?"

She stopped, her hand right beside his foot and took a deep breathe, forcing herself to relax. Slowly, she stood and looked at the comical man in front of her as she refastened the pin to her jacket. "I'm sorry...My name isn't Samantha, it's Miss Browning. You must have me mistaken for someone else." The lie slipping easily from her lips even as she took a step backwards.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Miss Browning," came his reply, "I seem I have mistaken you for yourself."

She looked up at him, a piercing look that would have terrified most interns into bawling balls of quivering flesh...and not the good kind. "My name is Celeste Browning. I do think you have me mistaken for someone else....Mr...?" Not giving in for one moment but still not quite lying. It was her middle name after all. She pushed the bridge of the thick glasses up on her nose to cover her eyes as she tried to get him to focus on her glasses and not her eyes.
