Alania blushed deeply as he kissed her hand.
"Vamir... I.." She said quietly.
She cut herself off as he walked away. She looked at Takashi as he sat down. It seemed no one could stand to be by her these days. She looked at her hand, and took off the hankerchief, as more blood fell. She blinked, watching it run. she'd close her hand, stopping it, and let it run again, repeating the process over and over.
"I'm sorry, Takashi..." She said sadly.

Takashi shook his head. "Don't worry about it. I should have got something to drink I just couldn't." His gaze faultered. He was getting sleepy from the lack of consumtion and from it now being to early to go out. "I'll just sleep here for the time. I won't be able to make it to my room."

Luna stood up, and slowly walkled over towards Haseo. She sat down at the edge of his bed and looked at his sleeping face. 'He doesn't look too peaceful.' she thought as she gingerly reached a hand out and brushed away a strand of hair that had fallen over his face. She yawned and leaned back, staring at the ceiling. 'I hope he's not dreaming of something too terrible.'

Haseo wrapped his arms around Luna, still sleeping as he mumbled something. The voices in his dream began echoing in his room. "....Luna...about that day...when he hit me with the sho...vel...." mumbled Haseo, his memories jumping back and forth.

"Yeah..."mumbled Luna as she turned on her side ot face Haseo. She remembered that day clearly. It was one of her most hated memories. Luna had been so scared of the attackers and worried about Haseo's injuries. She gently placed a hand on his forehead where she remembered he had been hit. She could hear voices echoing around her. They were terrible and they brought back bad memories from when she lived in the village. "This is such terrible noise..." she whispered as she closed her eyes momentarily in a futile attempt to block out the sound.

Haseo's arm slowly wrapped around Luna as he slept. The bad memories came back to him from the village, but Luna was always there. He would do anything to keep her safe. He remembered that she used to get yelled at because she hung out with him, but he would always stand in front of her and take the blow.

Luna realized that nothing she did was going to block out the sound, so she slowly reopened her eyes. She felt Haseo's arm around her and she smiled. She listened to the noise around her and thought back to her past. For her, Haseo had always been there. He had always protected her. "I love you." she said, knowing he probably wouldn't even hear her.

Haseo had a light smile on his face. "You jerk...I like Luna..." he mumbled. He remembered shouting that to a boy that was Luna's age. 'You jerk! I'll protect Luna because I like her! Got that?!' He remembered it took place after Luna's school was over. Haseo had a black cloak on until the boy removed the hood, half of Haseo's face being burned, but not as bad.

Alania wanted to let him drink her blood, but it wasnt allowed. She too, was slightly weary, but it wasn't going to stop her. She only stood there, wringing her hands.
'I don't even know what to say to him anymore...' She thought to herself.
She shivered a bit, and looked down. She hated being so petite, it was always a hassle.
"Takashi.. I.." She cut herself off, not finishing her sentance.

Luna smiled as she listened to Haseo. 'I remember.' she thought, 'He said that on that day. That was such a long time ago. I went to visit Haseo, but that stupid kid wouldn't leave me alone. He was being really rude to me, but Haseo saved me from him.' She turned to look at haseo and smiled wider as she placed a hand on his arm.

Haseo could feel the warmth in Luna's hand as he slept. The voices slowly faded as he slept peacefully. "I'll always...protect you....Luna..." he mumbled, a faint smile on his face. A few of his scars were fading slightly so they weren't as noticeable than before.

Luna watched Haseo, and smiled at his comment. 'It looks like his scars are healing.' she thought to herself as she ran a finger across one of the lighter ones. 'Every time I see his scars, it makes me wish I could have done something to help.' she closed her eyes and thought about the past.

Haseo let go of Luna and rolled onto his back, still sleeping, but he was now thinking of food. "Almond jelly...." he mumbled. He remembered one day Luna brought almond jelly but as soon as she set it on the table, Haseo ate it. 'Sorry 'bout that, Luna. THEY'RE SO GOOD!!!'

Luna listened to Haseo and began to laugh. "Almond jelly..." she chuckled, "Gosh, I forgot all about that. Haseo used to love almond jelly. Maybe I should make him some later." she thought for a moment. 'Although, I wonder if they have the proper ingredients here?'

Haseo smiled until he rolled off the bed. He shot up, looking around with a bump on the back of his head. "Wha? What happened?!" he looked around until he realized he was out of bed. "Oh...That hurt...." he said, rubbing the back of his head.
