Teleka laughed, "I didn't make the choice, you royal idiot. I was taken away from the lands and then told to find her. From what I had known the firekins cared about each other, part of their proudness. The Firekins were powerful, you will destroy them. I shall leave it to you though." He smiled now, a huge smirk crossed his face as he looked the so called prince in the eye. "For now I am staying nothing you can do will change that and for now, I shall find your sisters, they will probably talk more sense then someone who has his head up his own backside." Oh he did love his sister when it came to insulting others, she had done it to him enough times and now look, the royal idiot for that was now his name could do with a few insults, ruining a good pride. That was just stupid.
Teleka looked at the femme and lowered his head, "It was nice to meet you miss." He then looked back at the other, erm, "lion" and just smiled, "See ya around, kid." He then turned and ran off, he was thirsty and needed a drink. Teleka would leave the lion alone, for now, doesn't mean things will change though.

((*rolls* =D *pushes Mpeka into thread*))
As Teleka walked of, another dark red blob came into view. Female this time. And much more vicious looking then her twin brother before, it was only safe to assume she was angry and why should she be? He had left her in the dessert, even when he knew she couldn't find her way back home.
She could still feel the claws of that wretched bird dig into her fur, growling under her breath as she gently padded her way to the scent of other lion's. That's how she found her way here. Mpeka had known Teleka for most of her life, hell, they where twin's afterall. And she could easily recognise his scent, plus she was a good hunter, so those tracking skills had to come in handy for something other then hunting.
When she got ahold of her brother she'd kill him, how dare he leave her. However as she drew closer to the old lands of her home, she paused, the smell of death and plague where rank. Her ear's flattened, she couldn't smell her mother either...she'd investigate that later, but for now the sight of two lions came into view.
At the sight of the adolescent she thought it was Teleka, but after a second glance, she realised he was much brighter...plus he didn't have the black and white striped mane. However, the red female looked familiar, her ear's perking slightly she silently drew closer to the pair, however held her head high. She didn't speak, she didn't know what to say...she was home...and even though her face didn't show it, ever, she was glad to be back.

He hadn't expected her to find the pride so quickly but then it wasn't surprising. He hadn't got too far when it hit him, her scent. He was far enough away that she wouldn't have seen him but he knew his sister was back and he knew that would cause trouble. Just wait untill he told her what he knew, unless the other so called king would. Teleka would rather die then follow him, the pride had died and he seemed to care not for it, that annoyed the adolescent and he knew it would annoy his sister, however, she had more, what are they called? Tatics, then he did. He would leave it to her, get beaten up later, sounded good, he wouldn't let her win, not this time.

(( Crap. XD gotta get back in here! Since i forgot what wokovu was doing i'm just going to have him kidnapped by Dih-ji now O: ))
Dih-ji shifted into the winds of the night, finally ready to complete his task. He couldn't wait to see what the other gods and goddess were doing about theres... now was time for action. Hope was long lost amongst the pride, and the god of hope himself's LAST hope was this cub.
As the hope of their creations dwindled so did his power, he felt weaker than he had in centuries. And it showed in the way the once mighty god now had a bit of a drag in his step. The feather's of his wings would dip ever so slightly into the sand.
He stopped outside the oversized hole in the ground. The current resting place of the mismatched family. There he waited for their return at dawn.
~~
The "last hope" was currently bounding along side something half his size. Grinning widely as he dragged a large bird in his mouth "Mm dff mrrmm mm!" he muffled out a brag, earning a sideglance from the fox beside him. "Don't talk with your mouth full!" she scolded, as a mother should. Age was becoming aparent on the Fox, her allready light fur getting lighter around her face, white hairs of age that were hardly noticable on the sandy colored fur.
Wokovu's ears drooped as he was scolded, dropping the bird on the sand with a plop. "I said i did pretty good!" His rear followed to the sand with another plop.
"Yes yes.."
"hey can we eat here?"
"Sure.. why not." She gave a crooked smile, moving over to dig into the smaller end of the bird. It may have been alot of work to feed a hungry cub with what little she could catch... but it obviously paid off now that he was doing the hunting.
~~
Just as the sun was rising the two returned to the den, Wokovu ramblig on about some sort and Yakuti smiling and listning. Dih-ji shifted, a frown apon his face as he stared at the two.
Yakuti went to an abrupt halt, staring at the god... Her eyes went wide, as she took a step back.. then one foreward infront of her boy.
Wokovu blinked, staring over the lion of sorts... But much much different. It was like looking into a still pond, his reflection staring back at him. But no.. somethign was different. The older lion looked much... colder. The thought of himself having an evil twin somewhere poped in for a moment, then quickly retreated.
Yakuti gulped, she'd never seen the god. His voice had lead her to Wokovu in the first place... but why on earth would a GOD grace them with his presence... Unless...
Dih-ji took a step foreward, giving a look to the fox, "Your work is done." then to the boy, "Come. You have much to learn."
Wokovu blinked, frownign a bit and grinding his paws into the sand. "What? I'm not goin' anywhere. I'm staying with mom."
Dih-ji stared a moment, "Don't be foolish... She's not your mother. You'll only be a burden to the creature if you stay here."
Wokovu's face faultered a bit... "No! She IS my mother. I don't care what she is... she's my mom."
"Your mother is dead. She was murdered the day you were born."
Wokovu felt a shot of pain rip through him. "..Then.. Yakuti saved me. She's my mother."
"If that is your logic then I'd be your father. This creature was meerly a tool to protect you. I sent her there, she never would have taken you on her own... Thats the way of life. And one day you'll see she's nothing more than a breakfast."
Yakuti fell silent, stepping away from her "son" He was right. She never would have...
Wokovu glanced to the fox, then to the god. His eyes filled with emotions for a breif moment before one locked in. "Who do you think you are?!" a low growl rose in his throat as claws extended into the sand, fur bristled and ready for a fight somewhere he knew he couldn't win. "You think you can come here and tell me what's what?! Why didn't you save me yourself? Hm? I'd NEVER eat her and how dare you even say it!" his voice roise to a pitch it never had before. Yakuti's eyes shimmered a bit as she looked to the lion cub... No. Her pup.
Dih-ji stared awhile longer. The boy was confused... Too long with the tiny creature. No emotion shone as his wings shot open, throwing a whirl of sand up around him. It engulfed wokovu, leaving the lion coughing.
"Goodbye, fox." was the last thing Yakuti heard before they were both gone. Her heart stopped. Paniced she ran about the sand her pup had just been standing in. "No..." she muttered, trembling slightly. Then she spun, taking off as fast as her tiny paws could carry her.
She had to find her friends... She had to get Wokovu back.
((beware the longass post. XD))

The desert sand felt odd underneath Kavuasi's paws; he hadn't been to the harsher parts of his native land since he had first left home, and had forgotten just how painful that sand could be if one stood still on it for too long. He was used to the cold, crisp feeling of grass underneath his paws, and his skin underneath his fur was covered in scars from scratched bug bites, cuts, and scrapes received during his training. There were no clawmarks, no patches of missing, nothing to show that he had been honed while he was away. He was nervous - when he was a cub, he had always been at ease in the desert, but now... It was as if he didn't belong. But he had to be here. He was Kavuasi, a long lost son, returning home to his family and to his pride.
At least, he wished it were that simple...
At the first sight of his pride's dens, Kavuasi broke out into a run, mane flying out behind him as his paws thudded against the ground. Shade! Oh, glorious shade! He had forgotten just how precious that shade was.

The dark red lioness lay on the rock she'd picked out, ever since she'd returned with her brother, everything seemed so right with the world, she could do nothing and yet everything at the same time. Her bright yellow eye's watched the golden sand's of their home, from here she could see everything, see everything while she thought on anything she liked. That's what she liked about this place. Anything and everything was at her disposal.
However, as a bright red blob appeared on the horizon, her eye's narrowed slightly. What was that? As it got closer, much closer, she could see it was a lion. Male, bright red and running this way. A long lost Firekin?
Never the less of what or who it was, Mpeka instantly jumped from the rock and stood in the bright male's path, a loud roar erupting from her. Not to sound threatening, but to make it clear she was no one to be messed with. "Halt! State your business!" She called out to him.

Kavuasi slid to a stop, eyeing Mpeka warily. Who was this? It wasn't one of his sisters... Yet she seemed to be around their age, maybe a bit older. Mayhaps a cub from another huntress?
"My business," He rumbled loudly, tossing his head to move a bit of his mane from in front of his eyes, "is to rest, then speak with your King, and his mother. I would not keep me from doing what I came here for, if I were in your position." His blue eyes looked the lioness over, and after mentally reassuring himself that he had spoken correctly, he peered past her towards the few lions in the distance. He couldn't tell who they were from this far away, but one of them was a male.... That he was sure of. The darker mane gave it away. Maybe it was Kimeti...?
"Now, may I pass, or am I to be kept here?" He asked, looking back at Mpeka and lifting his head proudly.

Mpeka blinked slightly at his word's, if his first sentence was supposed to be an idle threat, she wasn't moved at all. Who was he? She could tell by the pelt and the familiar scent he was Firekin, he smelled a little like Kimeti, only different, the unique scent every animal had. So he must've been from this pride.
She then arched a brow slightly at him, his last word's let a faint chuckle rattle the lioness, before she looked over him once more and nodded a little. "Yes, ofcourse you can, I just wanted to make sure you weren't a rogue..." She then held herself in a proud position infront of him while partialy seating herself. "...But may I ask your name?"

Kavu blinked, then chuckled. She wasn't phased by his threat - a true Firekin. She might've been a bit more frightened, though, had she known exactly who he was.
"My name is Kavuasi." He replied, bobbing his head politely. "And I am no rogue..."
Not anymore. He thought to himself, and resisted the urge to chuckle. But then, what am I?
"...I am a Firekin, and I am glad to be home." He continued. It was a lie, of course - he was no longer a Firekin, not according to Hestia. But he was glad to be back. Firekin or not, this was still his land, and he wanted nothing more than to stay here for the rest of his days. He shook his head again, shooting a glare at the lock of mane in his eyes. He'd have to find a way to cut off this bit of mane... It was beginning to get on his nerves.

The dark hued lioness listened tentatively, ear's twitching forward at every word before she nodded at his name. It sounded like a fine Firekin name.
She then let out a small flicker of a smile cross her maw as she spoke. "It's good to have more pride member's returning home...my name is Mpeka..."
As the bright red male started to get cross about the lock of hair in the way of his face, the lioness had to stop herself from laughing, only letting a small, almost girlish giggle pass over her fangs. She then smirked a little. "You know you could always get someone to move it of your line of sight..."

Kavuasi blinked again. He hadn't thought of that... He had really only ever been around Hestia, and though he trusted her, he hardly ever asked her for anything. But now... He'd be around other Firekin members all the time, and surely they could help, right?
"Pleasure to meet you, Mpeka. Um... Well, I mean..." Better to get it done now before he spoke to Kimeti and Kinja, right? And she was the one who had brought it up. "Would you do it for me?"

Mpeka blinked softly before smiling and nodding toward's the large male, a little chuckle escaping her. "Ofcourse." She said smoothly.
She instantly got up and moved over to him, placing a white tipped paw of his shoulder as she licked over the annoying piece of hair. Raspy tongue moving over his light red mane, before it finally stuck into place and stopped moving...much.
"It'll help a little, at least you'll be able to see now." The lioness then moved away from the lion. "You better go and rest, after all it's what you came here for...I'll be seeing you around Kavuasi."
With that the female trotted of, probably looking for something to eat.

Kavuasi held still as his hair was fixed, then smiled at her as she left.
"Thank you!" He called after her. Nodding to himself, he rolled his shoulders back and continued his walk towards the dens. A nice long nap, then a talk with his folks... He just hoped that Hestia was right, and that they wouldn't think he was odd for just now coming home. He needed their wholehearted approval, or else his job would become a lot harder.
