Arina crumbled, moving away from Benjiro. "Please, Sensi don't make it so loud." She whispered frightened. "I don't want Taku to know that I hurt myself on purpose."

Benjiro nodded. "I'm sorry, Arina...but what on god's earth did you do this for?" he asked quietly, wondering what would drive her to this.

"I failed the chunin exams, I failed my family." Arina mumbled looking at her arms. "I needed to punish myself for being a complete idiot and just failing."

Benjiro frowned. "You failed no one, Arina...and even if you did, that's no reason to hurt yourself like this....Think about Taku for a moment....He's wanted to make a name for his family as well...he's failed the examinations three times before this....but here he is again, fighting for his family and his respect..." he said softly. "You can do the same...keep your hopes up, Arina....you can win next year...I know you can" he told her.

"There won't be a next year....I doubt it." Arina replied. "I betrayed Orochimaru by going to the Hokage......He'll find someway to kill me I know it."

Benjiro sighed as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Lord Orochimaru may be a bit harsh....but he's not stupid. Killing you would weaken Otogakure a lot...not to mention piss a lot of people off...he wouldn't risk that at all" he replied to Arina. "Now come here...I should heal your arms" he instructed her.

""Why would it weaken Otokagure? I'm no use to anyone." She replied holding her arms out to Benjiro. "The only way I'm good at fighting is if the curse seal is activated but when it is I hurt those that I care about and I put myself at risk as well."

Benjiro shook his head as chakra encased his hands. He had been perfecting his medical jutsus so that pain wasn't an addition to the jutsu. He placed his hands to Arina's arms and smiled. "You skills can improve in no time...just a little bit of effort will make you one of the greats...ANd besides, He'd lose you, the respect of his villagers, his only chuunin; assuming Taku passes, and one of his best Jounin" he said with a smile.

"Taku will pass." Arina replied smiling. "He has a big advantage against that Uchiha girl to believe it or not." She cracked her arms and took the bandages off. "The jutsu's that Taku uses, she can't copy because of the fact that he has vents that lets him control air. And also because he can use those vents to emmit high frequencys....He could probably screw her up a bit....Am I right Benjiro-Sensi?"

Benjiro smiled as he nodded. "That's right....but even though she can't copy him...her chakra levels are huge in comparison...even larger than mine...and the Sharingan has more abilities than copying jutsu...he'll have to think more than act..." he replied.

"Mhm." Arina replied. "Luckily he gets to watch her fight so that way he can come up with a way to use the advantage he has against her and see what her fighting skills are like....Thats what I would do."

Benjiro smiled. "You see....you may not be very physically strong yet...but you're as smart as you are diligent....you'll make a great shinobi soon." he said with a smile, though it faded slightly when he sensed an immense chakra...one that felt familiar.

Arina tensed a little. "You feel that?" She whispered. "Hear it?" Since she worked with a sensitive bell, she had developed an excellent sense of hearing. "That voice sounds familiar."
