"come on out whatever you are!" he said, releasing the pokemon. It was still sitting there sleeping so Ricardo walked over and shook it's shoulder. "Hey, wake up little guy." he said while taking his other pokeballs off his belt. "I want you to meet your new friends. You're gonna be travelling with us." He let out all the other pokemon as his new one woke up. "You all talk while I go to the pokecenter." he said, walking towards the building not knowing that charmander was following him. "Tino! watch them for me quick. I'm gonna go ask the nurse what pokemon I just caught!" he yelled to Tino holding up his pokedex with the pokemon's data still on it.

He went up to the desk. "excuse me miss. could you tell me what this pokemon is?" he said, showing the pokedex to her. "Yes sir, this appears to be an Snover, they turn into abasnow when they get to the right level. Ricardo closed the pokedex and put it in his pocket. "thanks maim(SP?)." he turned around to head back outside and tripped over charmander and fell onto his face. "ahh, charmander, where'd you come from, i thought i told you to stay by the others." he said as he sat up and rubbed his nose and checked to see if it was bleeding. Charmander walked up and grabbed onto his arm "oh well, let's get back." Schoch said, picking up Charmander it his arm. "Char!" the pokemon exclaimed gleefully.

"hey everyone, we're gonna help Kitt get to the hospital. Just follow me, I think you're all too small to help much." Ricardo walked over and grabbed kitt's arm and lifted it over his shoulder. "Tino, help me out here."

"It's ok little buddy." Ricardo said as he finished spraying him. He put his hand on snover's head and ruffled his head fur(whatever snovers have on their bodies). "I'm not gonna let my pokemon stay hurt for long."

"I'm making a promise to you 2 right now, I will keep you with me no matter what, even if we're fighting against pokemon that the odds are against you, I'll keep you with me, and you'll win and prove all those odds wrong. I know as we continue through Kanto, we'll meet more pokemon and teamates, but I will always keep you 2 with me."
