Mikki followed Miranda out, and when they passed Princess, Mikki waved a 'come-on' to her. They were out the door to dinner.

Lyra entered the common room and saw that everyone, well almost everyone, had miraculously reappeared. biggrin "Hello again people!" she shouted enthusiastically.

Mikki, who was reading, looked up at Lyra and said, "Hey, it's been a while! Sorry I haven't really been around since you got back. It's been pretty hectic." Mikki put a peice of fuzz she found in her chair in her book to mark her spot and put her book over on the table.

Miranda sighs and says "So close to being a second year!" She feels a rush of excitement through her body. "I can't wait! Next term I think I'll stick with Defense Against the Dark Arts. Have you seen the House Points yet? We're in the lead! GO RAVENCLAWS!"

"I can't believe we're in seperate years! It's so weird." Mikki thought about how many of her friends were ickle-firsties. "And we're kicking major butt in House points. I'm so excited, we're totally gonna win the cup this term!"

Lyra ran over and *glomped* Mikki. "Wow. I've got too much energy right now. And I didn't eat a lot of sugar or anything..." Lyra hears Miranda talking about house points, "Go Ravenclaw. Not that I really did anything to help gain house points..."
[[I have a dilemma. When I talked to the mods about coming back to the guild, they asked if I wanted to remain a second year for next term or move up to the next year (third year) along with all the other current second years. Any suggestions?
I should be here quite a bit during the break. My family is moving to New Zealand, so there might be a bit of time when I don't have internet. crying However, we're hoping to find a place to stay that has internet, so I shouldn't be gone for too long.
I just realized something...when it's summer vacation in the US, it will be winter in NZ and I will be in school. Summer break for me will be November, December, and January. Creepy...
Anyway, I will not be back in school until about next February, so I should be on Gaia a lot. Yay! Wow, long post. Sorry about that.]]

Miranda rolls her eyes at the comment Lyra made. "So? We Ravenclaws are like a family. We win together, we lose together. So far, I've already lost our House 30 points. But I think we have a great chance of winning. I've already turned in my Muggle Studies exam and got all 50 points on it. I must say it was quite easy..."
((@ Lyra: I don't know whether or not you should be a third year or remain a second year...if I were in your posistion, I'd want to be a third year. But it's your choice. You would be able to graduate a term earlier, right?
That's CRAZY that New Zealand is so different from the U.S.! No school until next February?! That's awesome!))

Princess could tell that Lyra was excited and she tried her best to answer all of her question. "Ummm I haven't seen lonnie too much, and Ari didn't com back due to school and a busy RL. Did I get them all?" Princess hopes that she answered all of Lyra's questions, and happy that she was back for a while hoped she would be around more frequently to chat with her and get caught up. Princess saw out of the corner of her eye that Mikki motioned her to follow them down to eat so she nodded and followed.
