The stranger was about to answer Than,but saw Kai falling.He moved as quickly as he could,and caught her.Looking to than he shrugged slightly as he held her up."Umm..I guess just put her to bed?"

*the man was closer so he was able to catch her first. Than stops his little dash to keep Kai from falling, feeling a bit awkward himself* um... hai..... *he moves past the two and opens Kai's room door, keeping it open for the man, he walks in and starts to pull back the blanket on Kai's bed*

The man smiled to Than and nodded.Moving through the door he brought her to the bed.He lay her in it gently,taking extra care in making sure she was comfortable.Her injuries weren't healed after all.His smile faded as he looked back up to Than.For a brief moment the liquid of his eyes seemed to ripple,as though from the pupils a stone was dropped,and the crimson fluid that made the iris was disturbed.It stopped after the first ripple however.
Shrugging,he took a few steps back and let Than do whatever.He wouldn't shoot the boy in her room,with her sleeping.Even if part of him wanted to,just to remove the competition.Outside however,was different."Thanks."

Do itashimashite.... arigatou yourself. ^^ I'm glad someone else cares enough to watch after her. *He pulled the blanket over her form and leaves it loose over her, to do whatever she wanted in her sleep* Hmm.... *He thought about her broken wing. He would offer to help her with it later. Than turns and starts walk to the door* come on... I doubt she wants to wake up with two blokes like us staring at her. *He chuckled and walked out into the main room* So.....

The man nodded and followed behind Than."So...It's nice out,mind if we go for a walk?If there is something out there it's best we find it now." He continued to follow Than,not knowing what Than would say.The man was oddly armed at all times it seemed.His swords guns and knives in plains ight,but it was natural for him.

"Of course.I've already placed a minor thing or two to alert me in the case of something entering Kai's room uninvited.Actually,it pretty much alerts me of all threats in the room..but still."He chuckled slightly at that and moved to the front door.He swung it open with ease,holding it as he gestured for Than to go.

The man follows after Than with ease,letting him lead the way.As he closed the door he'd slipped a small blade from it's sheath.It was now hidden up his left sleeve.The sheath was made to be quiet,and he hoped the door closing would help."Lead the way..."

My god..It's TOO good...he must be setting me up...The man thought as he followed."Yeah..pretty dark out..." In reality he could see easilly in the dark.The trees blocked further viewing,but that was fine.As Than seemed preoccupied,he moved up a bit closer.Well within range of reaching out to grab the boy.

For a moment the man was afraid that the scan may reveal his intent,but he didn't bother to wait.He moved forward swiftly and silently.As he came he reached around from Than's left,keeping the blade out of sight until it'd be too late.At which time he'd slice it across deeply at Than's throat.At the same time,his right hand had drawn a blade and aimed to plunge it upwards into Than's back.Between his ribs from behind and into his lung,in an effort to puncture it so that he'd die quickly and near-silently.

Than: O_O *indeed it was too late before he realized what was happening. He tries to shout out, only to have blood sputter from his slit throat. He shut his eyes tight when he felt another blade enter his back. Once more he tried to scream, only to find his air exhausted already. Than lurches forward only to have the knife tip up a bit more of his skin. He collapses to his knees, grabbing his badly bleeding throat and trying to cough, scream, or do anything to get air back into his system. But it was extremely hard to breath with one lung and painful to draw air into the wound* >_< gah.... n-nani?........dare? *He slowly starts to turn his head to look back at the stranger*
Zio: Lord Thanatos, your vitals are erratic. Please respond....

Than would be looking back at the barrel of one of the man's pistols.For as the boy lurched forward,his right hand had let the blade go.It had moved to his gun quickly,raising it to aim.Aiming with a mechanical perfection as he lined it all up and fired.Hoping to put the silvered .45 bullet right between the boy's eyes.His own eyes were bubbling as the fluid boiled.Whatever influence Kaiori had on him wasn't holding at this point.
