Alanna walked out onto the beach barefooted and watching Taffy run around, smiling at him. She loved that little dog. In her left hand she held a box and a book under her left arm. They were the lenses that Senstren had given her. The ocean was a place that was connected with a certain area in the underworld, that was hard to reach. And, at the beach was the strongest link to it. She open the box and took the lense reading the first few pages to set them up correctly. She lifted the first lense up, third one down, and kept the middle one at its starting spot. Taffy barked chasing seaguls away. She turned to smile at him before starting a low chant. She held the lenses to her face and peered through them. A whole new landscape became visable. The beach was no longer there, replaced by a street and a placid coastline. She didn't move only watched through the lenses. All sound around her was drowned out; Taffy's barking, the ocean waves, and seagulls. Everything was silent to her. Only the scene through the lenses played its own sound. A howling breeze that kicked up dirt along the road. She continoued to stare as if waiting for something when a small profile was seen in the distance, walking, slowly.

She showed no emmotion to this appearing shadow. She only shifted slightly as if to make herself more comfortable. It continoued to walk closer and closer in long strides. Eventually the shadow became visable showing an old man. He was holding a bell in his left hand, held infront of his chest. It was the same as the one she had. The bell rang a low meloncholy sound every 5 or six steps the man took. Once it rang everything around it was shown for what it really was. What seemed to be a lush growing tree providing shade was only a cactus with sharp spines. The road he walked was the road of illusions and the bell showed everything within a 5ft radius of what it really was. She looked away and closed the lenses. The sounds of the beach started to return to her and she looked around for Taffy. He was running along the receading ocean waves. She smiled and called for him, patting her side leg and walked along the waters edge with him, towards her next destination.

*goes out to beach and sits near the water*... *takes of her shoes and dips her feet in the ocean* ... *lays down on the sand looking up at the sky*

*with her feet in the ocean and some blood runing on her body she smiles* it was a cool fight though...but i will never do that again... he broke my wings

*stands up taking of her clothes (wearing just her underwear) goes to the water and the waves are cleaning her body and the blood comes of her* ... *facing up and looks at the sky* ....okey it stings a little *shes goes back to sand and lays down and closes her eyes*
