Sakeme stirred her soup again, with boredom... Wrath wasn't a very good conversationalist... not that she was either, but still... Staring out the window, she ate her soup quietly... the warm liquid filling her stomach and making her sleepier than she had been in the first place... She hoped she wouldn't doze off...

Elruda had asked the waitress for curry noodle soup. She was eating as Wrath and Sakeme began their...rather awkwardly uncomfortable conversation. When Sakeme mentioned man-eating scorpions...the young Hyuuga couldn't help but voice her thought: "I like our national animal better." And Wrath-sensei...so strong... By national animal, she had meant Ame's crocodiles. Though the child, as she returned to her noodle soup, did not notice how she had by now referred to Ame in such a personally direct manner.
Roxanne had gone out for lunch...or late lunch, as one would call it. An angry vein momentarily throbbed on her temple...obviously quite displeased about the whole prospect of a main family member having to hold such a job. She looked to her pocket watch, that the owner made her obtain to keep a closer management over time. "..." Lunch break was over; she'll have to return to the cafe as soon as possible.
Roxanne had just entered the front door of the cafe and was midway headed to the kitchens when she was stopped by Zephyr. "Oi, Roxy!" The Sannin amusedly watched as the Hyuuga woman's back stiffened at such informal reference before she altogether rounded on him. The Hyuuga's lip dangerously curled as she eyed the Sannin. "Zephyr-sama...simply because Yokou-sama consents to such...barbaric tones...does not mean the rest of our clan condone it."
The Senju rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah...this is about your precious head of family. Oh, so now you are listening?" He teased as Roxanne seemed warily alert now. "Anyways, we kind of ran into the new Kage of this village. That crybaby Hokage of yours stomped off after the negotiations didn't go so well..." A light pause. "Eh...so Yokou..." Roxanne's bag dropped as realization dawned upon her. "Oh no...she didn't..." The Hyuuga Jounin stared at the cafe's clock. "I can't help you until my shift ends... Then, this can be talked over with the rest of the clan."

Wrath had finished his loaf now but was still hungry. What little food he did have made him feel almost normal again, instead of drained. Wrath twisted his body to look behind him and noticed the guy from before and the waitress. "Ey, could I get something to eat over here" Wrath spoke out despite that the waitress was having a conversation.

Roxanne finished strapping on her apron and at call, the Hyuuga Jounin tied back her long black hair before heading to the customer. She paused shortly, eying the child. It was...that imposter from before!
Zephyr was first to notice the spike in Roxanne’s chakra levels. Sighing, the Senju tapped the Hyuuga lightly on the shoulder, to remind her that she was not in exactly the best place to pick a fight...considering he already owes this place money. The dark-haired Sannin (appears about 19) eyed the child curiously. He...kind of recognized the people she was with: the guy who summoned the giant panda and another kunoichi. But now that he had taken a closer look at the child with the tinderbox... "You're a Hyuuga." He remarked in surprise.
Elruda tilted her head slightly, pale eyes set curiously on the Senju teen. Her lips thinned slightly, as she was deep in thought. The power and chakra level she felt earlier...it could not have been from one not that much older than herself. But...as for his straightforward remark...what was there to say? She could only give the slightest nod in response.
As if sensing her discomfort, Zephyr instead took out the child's tinderbox - an arm with the silver object in hand outstretched towards the child. "Thank you for letting me borrow this..." Once again, the child nodded...but as she had bended over the side of her chair to reach for her bag, a single kunai fell from her kunai pouch and with a dull clang, onto the floor. Elruda reached for it, but the amber-stone charm attached to the blade had caught the Sannin's attention...and he quickly snatched it up.
He recognized that amulet alright...it was his student Yokou's...and distantly, in his mind...he recalled the Hyuuga leader fondly placing the amber amulet around her toddler daughter's neck. The amulet had come from Yokou's father, but she in turn had given it to her daughter. "Roxanne..." He murmured quietly. "Apologize to her." "What?" The Hyuuga Jounin began angrily.
"The imposter business you were babbling about earlier..." He finished grimly. "Did you know you almost hurt your clan's little princess...? Yokou would've not forgiven such an action, even from one of the main family." As if to emphasize his point, Zephyr held the kunai in front of Roxanne's face - for her to see the amulet attached to the handle. "T-that's..." Roxanne shakily began. "But...how...?"
Elruda looked highly uncomfortable as the two older shinobi began discussing her lucky charm. The child looked away. "M-may...I please have it back?" "Where did you get this?" The Hyuuga Jounin demanded, as Zephyr forcibly unclenched her grip on the kunai and returned it to Elruda. "My mother gave it to me." The child answered quietly. "The necklace broke, so I used the pendant as a lucky charm..." On the first kunai Wrath-sensei had given her...
"But the fire..." Roxanne began. "The elder Nyame-sama's teammate...Anzu-sama of the Senju clan. He was in the vicinity at the time, with another of his clansman...who specialized in Suiton Jutsu. Nyame-sama and Anzu-sama's friend saved me." The child finished calmly.
"Heh. The last time I saw you, you were still a toddler." Zephyr grinned fondly, but this smile looked somewhat pained. "So they're still around...my clan..." A light pause. "But you're safe now... Come with us Elruda, after all the heiress of Hyuuga belongs to Konoha."

A long silence filled the room, as if testing the child’s conviction. But after a brief moment, Elruda lifted her head and calmly met the Senju leader’s gaze. “Konoha is where I come from...and that will never change.” She began simply, voice quiet. “But Ame’s where I belong. Not even okaa-san can change the fact...that I became Genin elsewhere.” Her head tilted slightly up, a faint smile upon her face.
Zephyr quickly considered his next words. “And you are content with that? Can you possibly love both villages?” But the child only met his question with a serene, calm response. “Yes, I have found what I couldn’t find before.” A short pause and then even more quietly, Elruda continued on. “I already have a replacement, correct?” Zephyr’s silence was answer enough and Elruda’s expression saddened slightly. “I see...just as I was a replacement for onii-chan...”
“That’s not true!” Roxanne interjected sharply, her expression pleading. “Elruda-sama...Shikamori-sama can prove how your mother pained so!” “Yokou is currently away from the village...surely you can once she...” Zephyr began but Elruda interrupted sharply. “If I was not here, then the next closest to the head family...would be my first cousin Tetta-kun. He is my replacement, am I right?” A slow nod from Roxanne. “Please, keep this a secret from okaa-san. It’s better not to reopen old wounds. I do not want to see Tetta-kun hurt simply because a ghost from the past showed up...”
Zephyr frowned at the child’s words. She looked so young, so naïve, but her words right now...was that of an adult. Selfish as they might sound on the surface, but he could feel the child had placed all her feelings into her words: Hyuugas were taught to speak well, sometimes too poetically so... The Sannin’s expression darkened. “Stop speaking so selfishly. They would not condone it. After all, the Hyuugas still in Konoha and those of my clan...both have seen you alive and well. You would deceive them as well?”
Elruda’s expression grew cold. “It’s fine with me, you can try to tell my okaa-san. But she would not believe.” Her gaze landed briefly on Roxanne. “I know those of my blood well enough. They will not believe, lest undeniable proof is present. Please...I tire of this talk. I know Nyame-sama would search...but there's more than enough time until then...”
"Insolence." Zephyr growled. "You plan to fight the elders?" The Senju's eyes darkened. "And what if we bring you back with us now, consented or not?" A smirk crossed Elruda's pretty face. "Because I know you wouldn't, at least not in a neutral, foreign village." A slight pause. "And no, we haven't ran away from Ame." With that, Zephyr fell silent. When have that child gained such a tongue? Though the last words were left unsaid, the meaning hung clear in the air.
Was Konoha...or more specifically so the refugees...in enough a condition to face a challenge from Ame for assaulting a shinobi of theirs? And even in normal circumstances, an act like such could be viewed as an act of war... A grim smile as he grudgingly admitted. "Like your mother, a tongue as sharp as blades..."

Wrath listened to the conversation, looking back and forth at the two other shinobi and then at Elruda. "About my loaf of bread..." Wrath spoke out within the long silence to the waitress. He would step into their conversation momentarily since Elruda was his student, but he was hungry after all and food was mainly on his mind. Wrath's chakra had almost returned to normal. If anything were to happen he would definitely be ready for it.

Roxanne bowed apologetically and quickly excused herself for the kitchens. Not that long after, she returned, with an assortment of different bread: garlic bread and the like on a porcelain platter. She returned only to find that the Sannin and the heiress was having a rather uncomfortable staring contest: the child all calm and the Senju leader’s expression dark.

Wrath took the loaf of french and once again took large bites out of it. However the other male was begining to bother Wrath with his hard stare upon his student. If things didn't change, Wrath would have to do something.

"That isn't going to change my resolution..." Elruda murmured softly as she broke eye contact first, absent-mindedly stirring her curry soup. The noodles were quickly growing cold...and the child did not like her food cold. "This stubborness...is what's irritating... Both you and your mother." Elruda heaved a short sigh before she lifted her gaze up at the Sannin again. "Hm...you look a bit young." She remarked. "How did you come to know okaa-san? Perhaps a friend of Anzu-sama?"
A harsh laugh escaped the Senju leader. "Friend to the last known pureblood Senju? Nay, he's my son..." At Zephyr's near-casual remark, Elruda almost choked on her noodles. When she caught her breath again, an odd look settled on the Sannin. "With all due respect...Anzu-sama is...what, seventeen years of age? Sir, you do not appear to be much older...this would not be logically comprehensible..."
Another laugh, but this one was more hearty. "Oops, I meant to say adopted son." At Elruda look which clearly spoke 'is that legally possible'...the Senju leader decided to enlighten the conversation a bit. "Actually, I'm nearing forty... As head of family, Anzu is my legitimate heir, being the only known pureblood Senju." A curious look crossed Elruda's face. "Senju head of family...then that'll make you Senju Zephyr-sama...the Konoha Sannin that went missing...my okaa-san's and Shikamori-sama's sensei. Yet..." She eyed his appearance once more. "How can this be?"
Zephyr allowed himself a tiny chuckle. "Why do you think I said "pureblood" for Anzu? You don't know much about the Senju clan, do you...? Well, leave it to Yokou... Hn, the rest are the scions of lab experiments. My immune system is stronger than most...and I age extraordinarily slow...because I was born directly lab-borne."

"What is it you intend to do then? If you weren't going to kidnap my pupil then wouldn't you have left by now?" Wrath spoke up after finishing his loaf. Wrath stood from his seat starring down both the senju and the hyuuga waitress. "Why would you care for her to return to the fire country with you anyway? Shes already been replaced correct?" He asked arrogantly. All this talk about the past was beginning to annoy Wrath.

Sakeme sat and stared at the two as they remonised. Wrath was starting to regain his usual attitude. "Perhaps so they wont have to use the replacement... or for possible sentimental reasons..." She wasn't sure if it was wise answering a question that was directed at someone else, but she didn't care. propping herself with one hand, she leaned over the table...

The dark-haired Senju Sannin eyed Wrath with an annoyed look. He by no means appreciated the foreigner's opinion. "Do I look like a kidnapper to you? If I hurt the princess...accidentally or not...I won't hear the end of it from her mother and clan." Zephyr deadpanned. "So for one who never looked this kid's mother in the eye...hold your silence. Idiotic brat has no idea of her own worth...and absolutely no motivation to fight for her own birthright."
Elruda didn't bother answering as she reached for a piece of Wrath's garlic bread. After taking a big bite, chewing thoughtfully before swallowing, the child answered: "How many times must I tell you it wasn't my right to begin with? I was never born to lead the clan - Hyuuga had always been my brother's inheritance. Even if it's my cousin, the circumstances makes no difference."

That very second when the sannin had told Wrath to shut up, he attacked him. Wrath reached out attempting to strike both his knees and shoulders. No one ever tells Wrath to be quiet. Wrath hated people who disrespected him and this man was one of them.
Modified form of the Nandemonai no jutsu
Using pure strength to shatter the joints, which does a great deal of harm and has potential long term affects.
Goken Damage: Str. mod. + normal taijutsu damage x2
Special: Joints are shattered and unable to use limbs completely. Must have high level medic nin perform joint surgery to reverse affects of jutsu.

It wasn't that hard to miss the dangerous spike in the Jounin's chakra. Zephyr had lived long enough to notice killing intent when he sees it. The Sannin reacted just as quickly and a half-dome of wood appeared, blocking the first two strikes. But because the wood was made from his very own special type chakra, Zephyr sensed the barrier cannot take any more hits...and proceeded to form a rocky barrier from the earth. The third strike as he had expected broke through the wooden barrier but served its purpose - obstructing that strike. Just in time, too, as it seems...because the fourth and final hit met with his earthen wall.
It would not be wise to fight here in this cafe...but by now, the Sannin was pretty annoyed as well. He reached for his weapon...but would it truly be wise to use that?
