YazmishaNazo Melon-San, with all due respect, that wasn't entirely necessary. I mean, every artist has to start somewhere. I'm sure she was looking for some helpful constructive critisism, not people saying that she cant draw. I'm sorry if this post insulted you. And another thing: Art classes? o__o i've never heard of those before. I'm a self-taught artist myself, but there are actually classes that teach you how to draw? yes i do agree that i was harsh. but one of the ways got better was by people telling me i sucked. after that i worked harder and harder to prove them wrong. that is what i am hopeing will happen here. yes there are such thing as art classes. while they do not help with personal style they teach you the basics and help. personaly i to am self-taught so i get what your saying here. but it was only after a summer program that i was given a boost to improve and my skill went up tenfold. now i simply go on my own way,with a little help from my friends for a image here and there.

@Melon-san: Everybody has to start off somewhere. Things that may have worked for you, may not work for others. As a person who likes to draw, I can tell you that someone telling me I sucked would only tempt me to give up. Improvement comes from practice and critique. And I ask that if briluffs doesn't want critique, and you have nothing good to say, then you refrain from commenting at all.
@Briluffs: I personally think that with dedication and practice, you can become a great artist, briluffs. <3 So keep up the hard work! heart
