Tony turned the corner past kyosuke's apartment on his way home. He reached in his pocket to answer Scott's phone, which he had taken the other day. "Tony." He listened to the voice for a minute before hanging up. He began walking back to school.

A thought occured to Takara, and she looked up, slightly flustered. She took Tachi's hand and led him over to the couch, where she sat down, still holding onto his hand. She was a bit worried, wondering how he'd take the news. She brushed the thought aside, she had to tell him sooner or later. Now was a good a time as any. When she spoke, her voice was soft and hesitant.
"Ummm...I..have something to tell you...I should've told you this a while ago, but I didn't have many opportunities, and I also was a bit afraid of how you'd take it...You're going to be a father..."

Tachi simply stared. "What? How? When?" As far as he had been taught, there was one way to create children, and he had never done anything more than kiss Takara.

Takara giggled a bit at his surprise, perhaps he wouldn't mind after all.
"Well, in my race, we can reproduce in two ways, the regular method, which you probably know of, and another way that works with auras and souls more than with the physical world. In the latter, some of the energies of the two people involved will join to make a new one and this will implant itself into the soul of the mother. When the soul is totally developed, then the mother has to perform a spell to anchor the soul in this world and some of the energies it collected would create a body. It would start out as a baby like all others, it's likely the child will have stronger spiritual powers than most...And this can occur only through true love, nothing else is required..."
Takara's gaze was resting on their entined hands, hoping it'd be all right. She'd heard of cases in which the father didn't want a child and left the mother, and she doubted Tachi was such a person. Still, this must be rather unexpected news to him...

For the first time since he left his house for the first time, Tachi was flustered. "I suppose it is a wonderful thing." He smiled and looked deep in her eyes. "To create another being with you shall be my greatest honor. Although... I would have liked to create it the old fasioned way." He added sheepishly.

Takara's cheeks warmed a bit into a rosy pink, though she leaned forward, wrapping her arms around Tachi's neck and softly kissing him.
"Who said we couldn't?..."
She blushing, that was true, but she knew, she was his just as he was hers, hearts and souls entwined.

Tony reached the school and knocked on the pricapal's office door. THe fight had broken up earlier and now the only sounds were the cranes trying to rebuild the west wing.

Takara dreamed...
~A dark void surrounded her, she could neither see nor feel a thing, it seemed as though she were alone. Just as she was about to cry out, a light appeared and grew steadily brighter. In time, a beautiful woman stood before her, her features indistinct. Her voice reminded Takara of the wind, clear mountain streams, and sunlight, all in one.
"Takara, I've chosen you."
"I'm afraid I don't understand. Who are you?"
"I am Einlanzer, the sister of Masamune. Just as he chose your friend, Kyosuke, I have chosen you. I can tell your heart is pure and you should be able to wield me without much trouble. I am nearby, and you shall find me when you wake. There are dark times ahead, and all must band together to fight back this darkness. Though be warned, as of yet, my brother remains obstinate and determined to fight me, and in doing so you. He may or may not change, only time will tell. Do you accept me?"
Takara thought a moment. She didn't doubt trying times were ahead, that much was in everything, the world tensed with such news. She gave a respectful nod of her head. Before she could say anything else, the woman touched her forehead and with that, she fell back into her usual dream state to awaken later.

Hw was alone. No, not alone, the council surouned him. He straightened in the lightproof room. "You have made yet another choice without our leave Tsubo. Are you to continue in this fasion?"
He lifted his chin higher. "Yes."
"Very well. Know that the decisions you make will affect the fates of many." They halted their speach for a moment. "Tsubo, you must bring the child to us."
He started to protest, but the council spoke again. "We will not bend on this. Prophacy demands we christen this child. He must be a terren by right."
Before he had a chance to react, the room faded and he was again in bed with Takara. He watched her sleep for several minutes. He drifted off as he stroked her bare shoulder.

Takara's eyes fluttered opened, immediately seeing Tachi beside her. She gently smiled, and gave him a light, nearly imperceptible kiss on the forehead. She softly slipped from the bed, careful not to disturb him and wrapped herself in a dark blue robe that hung from a hook on the wall. Looking outside, she noted it was pitch dark, and looking at the clock, saw it was early the next morning. A light blush colored her cheeks, before the dream came back to her. There was little light in the room, but she could easily feel her way around it. She felt so sharp, her senses heightened, as though her entire body was looking for something. There it was, a small glow of light that came from inside a box on the dresser above which hung a mirror. Takara quietly walked over to it, carefully eyeing the box. She slowly lifted the lid, and a glowing dagger floated out to her, staying in midair. Without touching it, Takara glanced down and saw a note at the bottom of the box.
My dear, this belongs with you.

Takara reached out and grabbed hold of the dagger. It felt warm and comforting as the glow faded and the room was dark once more. A voice sounded in her head, the same lovely voice from her dream.
"We're now connected. The fates of many depend on the success of those who fight for good. May we all be strong in face of the evil storm to come."
Just as the glow faded, so did the voice and Takara was left standing, holding the knife, her mind going over the many things that had happened. She was happy, being together with the one she loved, and determined as well. She'd always protect, no matter what.

Tachi appeared behind her and wrapped his arm around her waist. He looked at the dagger. recognising it from one of his many books, he closed his eyes. Please, do not fight him until the baby is born. His thought was filled with concern. Not just for her, like before, because that was mainly a selfish concern. His worry now rested with their unborn son. He knew that nothing he could do would stop Takara from trying to help other people, no matter the cost, but he vowed to himself that he would protect his family.

As Himura entered into the office to pick up the briefcase he had accidentally left behind, he noticed a student at his door. He recognized him as one of the students who had been involved in the spectacle earlier How nice, perhaps I can use this boy well He approached the boy, with a slightly stern look on his face "Ahem, excuse me, but shouldn't you be at home? the campus is closed, and I am about to leave. However if there is some pressing matters you fell you need to discuss with me, please, step inside my office." He unlocked the door and stepped inside, then sat at his desk. He pulled his briefcase next to him so he would not forget it. Suddenly he recieved a mental message from Minoru "The second Seal has been broken"
