Sunfire and Tsunami instantly came out of their pokeballs. Next came the two Eevee that had just been captured. They huddled near eachother looking determinedly at everyone else.
"Well hello there you two." Mag said as he went closer and crouched on the ground near the two newcomers. "I'm your new trainer Mag and those are Sunfire and Tsunami." Mag said pointing to each.
"Flare!" Sunfire shouted. "Vaporeon!" Tsunami added after him. "I guess I need to come up with some names for you... how about Shining and Shadow?" Mag asked the two pokemon. Both Eevee eyed him warily and then came up slowly. They sniffed for a moment and then ran to the evolved pokemon.

She always looks to the bright side, Keegan thought. "Yeah, let's go get it," he said with a nod. Maybe after they collected a few more badges for Kasiya here, he could taker her over to Hoenn and he could earn some from his home region. He smiled to himself, knowing Althena would make quick work of Roxanne now that she knew Surf.

"Okay!" Kasiya jumped up. "Now...which way to the train station?" She looked around, studying the street signs. "It's near the Radio Tower," she said. "Let's hurry! I don't want to have to wait for the next one!" she laughed, and started running, the Pikachu doll tucked under her arm.

"Right." Keegan got up from the bench, and followed her, thankful he wasn't being dragged around this time. The two arrived at the station rather quickly, for it seemed like the main attractions of the city were grouped fairly close together.
"So which train do we want?" Keegan asked, readying his ticket and looking at the schedule. "There's one leaving for Saffron City fairly soon," he added, pointing out the entry on the board.

"Ooh, good eye, I would have missed that one," Kasiya said with a grin. "Hmmmm....we go this way," she said, pointing at one of the trains which was just about ready to depart. She boarded, flashing her ticket along with a smile, happy to see the train was fairly empty. She chose a seat by the window, Shocker sitting next to her, excitement building up inside her as she planned her strategy for Erika's gym.
Hiro and Fang should have an easy time in there, she thought, cuddling the doll. Adamantine is out, and so is Ariel. They'd get hurt too easily. Seto could definitely help out, so I'll keep him ready. And Shocker too, as a last resort.

This will be interesting, Keegan thought, taking a seat behind Kasiya as the train roared to life and they slowly pulled out of the station. I'll get to see her battle another trainer, in an actual, honorable match. Not goofing off with a friend or defending against an attack from Team Rocket. He looked out the window, as Goldenrod City started to recede into the horizon. "I have the feeling we'll be back here soon enough," he thought, settling in for the ride.

After a few minutes of running they entered Violet city and Dante dismounted befor the pokemon center. He patted Apollo on his neck. "Wow you seem to be much faster then when we first started out!" He said befor looking over at Meowth who was pretending to be violently ill against' teh corner. " Haha. It's not that bad Meowth." He said as he put Apollo back into his pokeball.
"Yeah thats what you think. I just dont like riding on a FLAMING horse. Plus the fact that we are going faster then I can run is NOT what I consider fun." Meowht said with a glare directed at Dante. For his part Dante ignored it and scopped Meowth up and placed him back on his shoulder.

Kilik looked at Nina, then back to his Flareon. He laughed somewhat, then swallowed the chunk of hamburger that was in his mouth. Flareon gulped its food as well. The boy wiped his mouth on a napkin. "Well, we haven't eaten since leaving Koga's Gym. We're starved." The Fire Pokemon barked a bit, "Oh. We had that ice cream." He placed his half-eaten burger onto the plate and looked at Nina, "What were you in Goldenrod for, anyway?" he asked her.

Kasiya leaned up against the window, feeling sighlty tired. Shocker scrambled into her lap, also getting ready to doze off. "This will be great," she murmured, glancing down at the Raichu, and the Pikachu Doll. She planced the doll in her napsack, not wanting to accidentally forget it. She closed her eyes, and let the humming and gentle rumbling of the train soothe her to sleep.

"Actually," Nina replied, after swallowing the bite she had taken, "I've been traveling with Sabrina for these past few weeks. We've kind of just wandered around Johto, not really fighting or capturing Pokemon, but mainly just to get some long-deserved 'alone time' and catch up with one another, talking about what we've been doing, where we've lived, hobbies, things like that." She wiped her mouth with a napkin, as she could feel that she had a little ketchup on her chin. "We met up with Kasiya and her friend Keegan earlier today, and we had planned on going shopping together, but she got caught up with a phone call, so Sabrina, Keegan, and myself went ahead of her. Sabrina and I unintentionally abandoned Keegan, going off to look at Pokedolls. After seeing a Miltank one, I stepped outside and was going to go look for a real Miltank... but then I saw you."
Nina took a breath, realizing she had been rambling a bit. "What about you?" she asked.

"Ever since I left Saffron City," he began, "I was working in part for Team Rocket. Then the whole incident in Vermillion happened. I was let off for turning in Giovanni," he paused. Kilik figured that she didn't want to hear anymore, but he continued, "Then I went to Fuschia City. I was living with Koga for a while. He was training me to become 'one with my Pokemon'. Somewhat of a spiritual enlightenment.
"After that, I went to Cherrygrove for the festival. And then I came to Goldenrod." He bit into his burger and swallowed the chunk, "I may battle Whitney for a badge. Haven't decided yet." Kilik shrugged.

Violet city wasn't a very big city and it didn't take Dante long to finish wondering through the whole city and find the gym. He read the sign on the front befor shrugging and walking in. His first impression of the gym was that it was horribly decorated, what with the big money sign in the middle that served as the walkway. The second thing he noticed was the lack of trainers in the gym and the gym leader sitting in a chair looking somewhat bored. He glanced at Meowth who just looked at him and shrugged befor going up to the gym leader at the other side of the gym careful not to fall in the hole. "Hello. Is the gym open right now?" Dante asked curiosly.
Falkner upon hearing a voice next to him was startled out of daydreaming about flying with his pokemon almost fell out of the chair he was sitting in. He looked up at Dante who upon entering the gym had pulled down his hood and was looking at him curiosly. Somewhat embarrised he answered. "Yeah its open. Not a lot of people here right now but were open. You here for a gym badge."
Befor Dante could say anything Meowth rolled his eyes and responded sarcastically. "No were here to go swimming. Of course were here to get a badge." Dante just put a hand to his forhead and tried to hide his embarrisement at his rude pokemon.

Nina took another bite from her cheesburger and listened intently as Kilik spoke. When he mentioned a battle with Whitney, Nina started coughing and nearly choked on her food. After a few moments of coughing, she swallowed her food. "That wench," Nina said, wiping her mouth with her napkin again. "If you do have a battle with her, I hope that you destroy her!" It was, of course, rather obvious that Nina didn't have the greatest disposition toward Whitney.
"Sorry," Nina apologized, lowering her tone a little bit. "But back a few years ago when I was still in the local trainer school, Whitney was attending it as well. She wasn't preparing to become a trainer, but rather to become a Gym Leader. Obviously, she qualified, but that's not important. Whitney was one of the snobbiest, bossiest kids that was in the school! Sure, everybody thinks that she's some sweet little girl who blubbers whenever she loses, but that's just a facade that she puts on. And she's so mean! She used to pick on me for SO many reasons, but one day she had really gotten to me. She had somehow found out that I was related to Sabrina, and she started saying how I was related to a psychopath who torments any trainer who loses to her! That really hurt my feelings, and made me really confused. I was always told I was an only child. Later that night when I went home, I asked my parents if I really was related to Sabrina or not... and they explained everything."
Nina was quiet for a moment. "I hate her so much," she said, almost coldly. "And I can imagine that Sabrina does too, especially after the things Whitney has said. In fact, she was the one who started all of those rumors about my sister in the first place..." The purple haired girl shook her head. "She makes me sick."

"Well, then..." Kilik blinked. His face was blank, along with his Flareon's, "I guess I'll battle her then." He lifted the Park Ball that was clipped to his belt, "I want to try out my Scyther." The boy laughed, spun it on his finger tip and then placed it back onto his belt. Flareon looked up, "And you can battle too."
"A three on three match sounds good to me." He looked up at the ceiling, "Once I get 8 badges, the Champion is going down!" Kilik slammed his fist onto the table.

Nina grinned. "Good for you, Kilik. And if anyone can beat the Champion, it'd be you." Her grin turned more into a smile, and she was quiet for a second. "Oh. When you do fight the evil demoness, keep in mind that her Miltank is a pain. It likes to use Rollout." Nina grew quiet again, and after a few moments she added, "I think that after you fight her... I'm going to, too. Just to prove to her that she can't make fun of me and get away with it." Mihoshi, who was resting on a chair as she had finished eating a few minutes ago, sprang up and started hopping up and down, crying out toge toge toge toge!!! Nina grinned at her Pokemon.
