I'm jealous of all of you who have gotten new Horns lately. My parents are making me pay for the entire thing by myself. Bloody Hell Stina Woot! Go horns. I've been playing for a while now, my school doesn't have a marching band (which I'm happy about) so I mostly play in Orchestras and Wind Ensembles. Anybody here like Woodwind Quintets as much as I do? Woodwind quintets are fun. I was in one at a band camp about a year and a half ago. We tried doing one at school, but nobody wanted to take the time to practice together...sad.

YEAH! FRENCH HORN RULES! I had to try out for french horn and i told my director if i didn't get it i'd quit band sweatdrop which was pretty much a lie...but it worked! biggrin
Even though I'm only in middle school, at UIL the judges are always shocked cause we play high school pieces! xd

I'm obviously a horn player. I'm actually going to try and minor in performing arts because that piece of metal has influenced my life that much. 3nodding

heart I love the F Horn!!! heart
The first time that I played the French Horn, I knew that I could never go back to the trumpet that I started with. Currently, I'm section leader and 1st chair for my school and loving every bit of it!!!! LIFE IS SWEET!!!!!

French horn is the flippn awesomest instrument in the whole world, ive played for three years now and ive met a bunch of awesome people cause of that and i will nvr quit appreciating my first year teacher who got me to consider the horn instead of the trumpet.

Hey, I'm second horn in a high school band only to my best friend. We so totally rule. I'm one of the rare ones who didn't start on trumpet, I've been all horn all the way. xp xd

I LOVE the french horn I have my own (my moms old 1) I am only in 8th grade but I play high school parts and I am in the hich school marchimg band! 4laugh I love all my high school friends .I'm given a shout out 2 my section leader Jessica and my junior drum major Valentin (not valentine,it valentine no e) And most importantly my band director Mr Settles he rocks! 3nodding

I play French horn!! Yay. I get to be section leader next year even though i'll be just a sophmore. I'll rule over the jouniors!! yay me!
And yes people do obsess over the shiny bell!!!

I made it into honor bands!
I tried out for three this year (on my horn, of course), and so far, I've heard back from two, both of which I'm in.
