she closed her eyes and escaped to her inner being. There was light and warmth and relaxation. Her lips curved in a smile. She relaxed and let her body drift.

Neko climbed out of a shadow in her room and changed quickly, throwing her wet clothes into her hamper. She made sure her purchase was safe and dry, and placed it on her desk so that she would know where it was. Bare foot and letting her hair dry, she walked into the main part of the bar, going about making sure everything was in place and that everything was clean and working.

Shadow strode in lightly from the storm, actually taking a small bit of pleasure from the weather most were finding absolutly miserable. After closing the door behind him and politely wiping his feet, he walked in, looking around curiously.
"I don't suppose anyone is home...." he said quietly, not seeing anyone at first.

"Speak for yourself." Neko said, waving to him as she walked over to the bar. "Welcome to the Demonic Ties, Shadow. What can I do you for?" She walked behind it leaned against the side, whistling.

He sat for a moment or so, as if wondering to himself weather that was a good thing.
"So how has Asmodai been?" he asked, changing the subject, "I have not had the chance to speak to him in some time."

"He was fine last time I saw him." She said, leaning against the bartop. "I haven't seen him in a few days actually, though hopefully he'll turn up soon." She fell silent for a moment, wondering if she ought to tell Shadow about Ashtar if he didn't know, or even about her engagement to Asmodai.
You never need unsay anything you haven't said.

"But then again, travel in this weather is rather difficult, so that might account for him not being around."

She said, saluting casually to both men before trotting into her room. She picked up the pressent she had gotten and walked back.

I don't know. I'm no psychic ot mind reader. It's not like I know his tastes in anycase.

"Wow, I actually have more than three people in here. The world's going to fall off it's axis!" She said in false alarm. On a more serious tone she said "Welcome to the Demonic Ties. What can I do you for?" She walked over to Asmodai and haded him the box, giving him a quick peck on the cheek.
