Reaper nodded and walked down to the basement a little after everyone else. After having got down into the complete basement, it suddenly felt much colder in the area. Too cold to have not been noticed this entire time. "This all happened way to fast, something odd is going on here. Is there a Rotom somewhere around, messing with the appliances or something?" He said to himself as he looked around with one of the candles he snatched up from the common room, diverting from the path everyone else seemed to be on.

Maddy pulled a ball off her belt and released her Axew. He wasn't afriad of the little Swinub that stood before her.
"Incinerate!"
Axew blew a stream of fire at Swinub, hitting hard. Swinub retaliated with Icy Wind. A cool breeze blew, hitting Axew hard. He still had some fight in him though. Suddenly, Swinub attacked with Ice Shard, getting a strike in before Maddy could issue another order. Axew fainted.
She recalled Axew and sent out Riolu.
"Force Palm!"
Riolu lunged forward and palm thrusted Swinub in the face, finishing it off.
Snorunt stepped up next. Maddy recalled Riolu and sent out Houndour.
"Fire Fang!"
Houndour ran over and bit Snorunt hard, flames leaping from it's maw. The little Pokemon emanated waves of water and sonic energy, attacking with a Water Pulse. The attack was a critical hit and confused Houndour to boot.
"Fire Fang again!"
Houndour was too confused and attack itself, fainting.
"I'm having no luck today." Maddy grumbled, recalling Houndour. She sent out Gabite in his place.
"Earthquake!"
Gabite's attack shook the entire base, dealing massive damage to Snorunt and causing it to faint.
Maddy returned Gabite and waited for the others.

Reaper continued walking quietly through the basement, unaware he was alone, having ventured away from the rest of the group. He tripped over a group of Swinub and Snorunt, and accidentally fell on top of one Swinub and one Snorunt. While the others dispersed from the area, the other two stood up after Reaper got off them and both blew an Icy Wind at him, freezing him for a minute before he broke out, shivering. "If it's a battle you want, it's a battle you're gonna get." He said and sent out Corphish and Poochyena.

~Battle Start~

Swinub started the battle off by shaking the ground beneath them, causing an Earthquake which struck all other Pokemon, injuring the Snorunt and moderately damaging both Corphish and Poochyena. Snorunt attacked by blowing Icy Wind at Corphish and Poochyena, causing them to move more sluggish and damaging the two slightly. "Corphish, use Brick Break on Swinub and Poochyena, attack Swinub as well with Fire Fang!" Reaper commanded as Corphish charged into Swinub and chooped him with his pincer, causing heavy damage to him, which was then followed up by a flaming bite from Poochyena, causing just barely enough damage to faint and fall over, leaving only Snorunt left against Poochyena and Corphish, and yet hadn't given up on winning, somewhat catching Reaper's interest.

Snorunt resumed the fight by attack Poochyena with a powerful gust of air from itself, causing a Blizzard and fainting him along with damaging Corphish a little bit. Reaper returned Poochyena to his Pokeball and looked at Corphish and Snorunt. He pulled out a Pokeball from his pouch and threw it at Snorunt, surprising the two remaining Pokemon. Reaper and Corphish watched the Pokeball wiggle from side to side repeatedly until final it stopped, signalling the capture of Snorunt. He smiled and walked over and picked up the Pokeball and spoke to it, as if speaking to the Snorunt. "You're an interesting little one. Cant wait to see what you are capable of in the future." He said before putting the ball away. He and Corphish then looked around for the rest of the team.

~Battle End~

BL: It looks like we got this place cleared out! The heating system is in this room over heRE!
*BL slips on a patch of ice and get knocked out*

Cody popped into battle just in time. As he turned the corner to see his teammates finishing their battles, a Rotom-F popped out from the shadows. Illuminating its body, it started to charge an attack.
"Poochy, let's go!" the boy shouted, pulling a ball from his belt. "Let's start with a Rock Smash!" The pup shot itself at Rotom, hitting it directly for good damage.
Rotom unleashed its charged energy, hitting Poochyena hard with Discharge. The pooch yelped, electricity surging through her body. Static electricity slowed her movement, but she still managed to fire off a Shadow Ball, contacting with Rotom.
The Ice type was almost down for the count, but managed to summon a dark, ominous wind that seemed to chill Poochyena to the bone. Recovering from the hit, Poochy fired off one last Shadow Ball, which contacted with Rotom. The ghost pokemon was barely hanging on before Cody threw a pokeball. It encapsulated the helpless pokemon in a red light and dropped to the ground, shaking once. Twice. Three times. Ding! The boy walked up to the newly acquired pokemon, picked up the ball, and attached it to his belt before returning Poochy to her ball and tending to his team as they finished their battles.

Reaper, on his way back to the group, had tripped and fell onto the heating system. "So this is where it is huh?" He said and not long after, he heard someone ask where it was. He quickly and sharply whistled to get their attention.

Reaper noticed no one heard him, so he went towards the voices and soon after found the rest of the group. He and his Corphish began pushing everyone to the heating system he found. "Found the heater. One of you know how to fix it? I'm no mechanic. I'll just break the thing." He said, as he rubbed his hands to warm himself up.
