 "Wow, that really is fast." Timothy wrapped the towel around his waist, not wanting to open the door and let the steamy air leave while Daren was still wet. He'd get a cold that way. "I was careful, Aomine. Don't worry." And finally he opened the door and moved into the hall, letting Daren out before turning off the lights. Now to his room to change. Jeans, again, a t-shirt, again, the shoes he wore earlier with socks. Oh, boxers. Boxers. There they were. He changed, giving a loud 'okay' to Daren who was speedily quick, which was sort of funny because in bed he wasn't quick at all. He walked out of his room fully dressed and still gently drying his hair. "Did you find it?" he asked, sitting beside Daren.

 Daren nodded, "i think so. Under the Sea? sound familiar?" it looked like a pretty nice place too, making Daren glad he'd put on a nicer shirt. He was still wearing jeans, but it was a form fitting tee-shirt that he'd put on without thinking too much about it. He wore this shirt when he wanted to show off the muscles usually hidden by his clothing. if he'd let himself think about it, he'd worn it as a sort of warning to others, a 'back off' sign. he was feeling protective of Tim and this was his way of showing that Tim was defiantly protected. he smiled as Tim walked up and turned the computer so the other could see the picture posted on the website, "this it?"

Timothy nodded at the name before looking at the place, face soon brightening. "Yes! That's it! That's where we always used to go to get seafood!" he exclaimed happily. "Aomine that's the place!" he gave an unintelligible noise of happiness and hugged the man tightly despite his stitches (which hurt like ********). "Yes! Yes! Oh please please please can we go? It's decently priced and when I get a job I'll pay you back every penny!"

Daren couldn't help but enjoy how excited Tim got over just looking at the place. "of course we can go, silly." he shook his head at the hug and stood up, "come on, you. before you pop." he got their coats and handed Tim his before shrugging into his own. "You don't have to pay me back, Tim. It's my treat, after all." he lead the way out and to the elevator, shaking his head a little at Tim's enthusiasm, "you can order as much as you like, Tim. you've defiantly earned it today." the elevator arrived and they got in, heading down to the main floor so they could get his car.

Timothy gave an excited squeal and stood, bouncing up and down before taking his coat and putting it on, zipper going all the way up to his chin. "Sea-food. Sea-food." he chanted to himself, holding the man's hand and weaving their fingers together again. "Really As much as I'd like? Shrimp and scallops and lobster and snow crab legs?" the elevator dinged and Timothy did all he could to contain his joy, almost literally bouncing beside the man but the excitement paused as he noticed a bunch of post-it notes on the hood of Daren's car forming a very familiar angry face. There was one single post-it on the windshield. Daren and Tim,
We stopped by to visit but the door was unlocked and the cup of water was spilled over. We cleaned up the water and ate some pudding in the fridge. Amanda says that Timothy better be alive and well or you'll be in trouble. I just hope you both are all right. Amanda's message should be pretty clear.
-Rachel"We can call them when we get back?" Timothy asked, brown eyes looking up at the man like a hopeful dog, the non-existent tail wagging behind him.

Daren felt a sinking feeling in his stomach. He'd have to face Amanda and tell her what he'd allowed to happen to her son. Not something he was looking forward to. He was debating if he should make sure Rachel was there when he told her or not. She just might kill him without her wife to hold her back, but then again he deserved whatever she dished out. "Yeah, we'll call them," he promised. He hid his worry and took the notes off the car, thinking about what a waste of notes this was, but pushing that aside. soon they were heading out, "glasses first. don't want you to have to squint to see the menu. I texted Iroh, he faxed the prescription to an office on the way, just have to stop by really quick and we can get you your seas food."

"I can read the menu without glasses." Timothy said with a pout, but accepted his fate. He needed new frames anyways. Andrew chose his old ones just like he'd chosen everything else for Timothy. "And they're a temporary pair right? Until I get a new eye exam and new frames?" Andrew did save a lot of Timothy's money since Timothy never spent any of it. he could pay for his own eye exam and glasses.

Daren nodded, "yep." he checked the address of the office once more before turning his attention to the road, "you can pick out whatever frames you like, it'll be coming out of Given's settlement with you. Actually, I should probably let you know that you will most likely be getting everything. Money, the house, the furniture, everything. I'd imagine you would want to sell most of it, but at least you can think about what you'd like to do for now." he smiled at Tim as they pulled into the office. "looks like you're going to be a rich man when this is all over, though no amount of money will ever be enough in my opinion. come on, let's get your set up so we can eat." he got out of the car and head for the office, "just warning you, they might not have many options with your prescription. it's only temporary, of course, and you can always get contacts if they just have big clunky glasses that you hate."

"I'll pick something since I doubt you'll let me leave without picking a set." he said, looking at the building. He'd get everything though. Everything. Everything was a lot to get. Andrew was a very, very rich man. "I don't think I'll ever be used to becoming rich. And everything in that basement can be burned. The door, the stairs, the items. I'm going to completely redecorate the interior of that house." Or sell it, he wasn't sure if he had the strength so step in it just yet. "Well I'm not as blind as a bat, I'm sure I'll find something." he said, walking in and looking around. His mind still felt fuzzy and in shock, was he making sense?

 Daren placed a hand on Tim's shoulder, encircling the man in his arm for a moment and giving him a bit of comfort before walking to the front. The girl behind the desk was all smiles and actually really sweet. One of those people that made you think if they were faking being that kind hearted and then blew you away because they were. "Mr. James? We got your prescription, luckily your eyesight is good enough, we can fit you in most of the frames here right now." she lead him to where the frames sat waiting to be tried on, "this whole section are available if you'd like them. do you have a certain kind in mind?" Daren sat back to just watch, letting Tim take over and handle this himself. Givens had done it all before, now it was time for Tim to step out of Given's shadow and take over his own life.

Timothy leaned in to the hug before looking around the inside of the building, being led to the front. "Y-Yes?" He asked softly as she said his name, listening and nodding before following her. This was a good selection. "Um, not frameless. My last pair were frameless." and looked at them curiously and nervously, unsure what to do in this situation exactly. he was afraid to try any of them on. he just stared at them back and forth, afraid of which ones to pick, glancing at Daren in one of the mirrors before glancing down. Just one, just a temporary pair. He started to gently pick up a few, looking at them before putting them down. Maybe something with color? But not bold colors like this hot rod red or Halloween orange. Maybe something black? No, no he didn't like black. He stoppled, looking at a pair of framed which were either burgundy or brown, the top part having no frame. "Hmm..." carefully he slid them on, looking at himself in the mirror before looking at the other two. "Are these okay?"

The girl waited patiently, letting Tim take his time as he picked out a pair. "Those look lovely." she moved closer and looked them over closely, checking how they laid on his ears and nodding, "Yes, i think they suit you perfectly. they make you quite handsome!" she smiled sweetly and stepped back, "shall i get those ready for you then? it won't take a minute." Daren smiled when he saw the frames. they did make Tim look good, much better than his last ones. these had more personality, more individuality. they were a good step forward to Tim's new self.

"Oh, um, yes please. Sorry about that." The frames were taken off and handed to the girl. Timothy waited until she was actually out of earshot before he spoke. "I'm not into girls but she actually has a really cute face. She can't be older than any of us. I suspect she's out of high school at the least." Just something to fill the silence. He found people with baby faces to be cute and she took the cake.

Daren smiled back, "She really is cute. though she has one of those tricky faces when it comes to guessing age. I'm thinking she looks a lot younger than she is-maybe mid twenties?" "I'm twenty-nine," she said as she walked to the pair with the glasses in hand. "here you are, Mr. James. all ready to go. just need your signature, and everything's all taken care of." she lead the way to the front desk and handed Tim the papers saying he did in fact pick up the glasses himself and took it back when it was signed. "you two have a great date."

"I wouldn't give her anything past her mid-twenties. She looks too young!" But out she came and the man was in shock "You're twenty-nine?! I mean, wow, you look raelly good for your age. Thank you." The glasses slid up his nose perfectly and he went to sign the papers. "Oh! Um, we're not going on a date! But thank you!" and gave a nervous smile and pink cheeks. This most definitely wasn't a date.
