COLLEEN XING



Still froze, looking at the blonde hair guy for such a long period of time.. Colleen knocked herself out mentally, then shook her head.. 'No! No! My heart is for Severin only! I shouldn't cheat and I won't let anyone wreck my sincerity for him!' She closed her fis and nods very determinated.

But then again, where could he be now? It's a weekend. Probably he's not inside his classroom, nor with Sylth.. She haven't asked him about the cookies if it tastes good or not.. She stared over Percy and the stranger.. Though Colleen would want to ask Severin to visit Rui with her.. Would he approve it? I guess not...

Colleen sighed..

"...I will take you completely..
Without exemptions..."

Percy Mikelovitch

A teacher at the school... of course he was. Fit the bill perfectly as a matter of fact. Percy gave Saeslin a weak smile as he clasped his hand and stood. "You would presume correctly sir. I'm Percy Mikelovitch. Pleasure to meet you." He brushed himself off a little before shoving his hands in his pockets. "I think I may take your advice and head to the town now." He said as casually as he could. Mainly, he just couldn't think of anything to say to this strange man, and was looking for a way out of what had been quite a stressful situation. "Go see if I can find any of my friends or something..." he said, scratching his head. "So... yeah. i'll ah..."

A slight movement in the corner of his eye caught his attention, and he turned to see professor Xing approaching them. Thank goodness! Someone to make Percy's (hopefully) imminent departure less awkward. He turned and smiled at her, focusing on her ear.

"Oh! Hello professor! Ah, how are you on this fine day?" Percy asked as cheerfully as he could.

"Ah, unfortunately, it was my carelessness that caused him trouble in the first place. It would have been remiss of me not to attempt to correct the mistake," Saeslin said, fumbling with his contraptions to free up hand to extend to Colleen. "It is truly a pleasure to meet you Miss Xing. I am Saeslin Cathain. I teach the mechanics and engineering class."

He wondered why she was writing notes. Was she mute? Normally someone who speak sign language if they were, though he supposed that would be inconvenient to use for others who didn't speak it. Odd. Then again, one of his students had scales. Odd seemed to be the norm at this school--though that would make it not 'odd' anymore, wouldn't it?

He turned back to Percy. "And please, don't let me hold you up. I'm sure you have more interesting places you'd like to be. And I do apologize for the trouble my inventions caused you. I shall most certainly endeavor to be more careful next time." Most definitely. He absolutely could not stomach the idea of being responsible for someone being hurt...or worse. Not again. He already had enough guilt to last several lifetimes. It was inevitable his own failings would hurt others in the future, but the least he could do was attempt to minimize the damage.

Just because he was prone to make mistakes, it didn't mean others had to suffer for it.

Colleen hesitates on accepting Saeslin hand, but it would be rude if she didn't accept it.. Her cheeks once more reddens as she received his hand and shook it gently.. Then nods.. As a gesture of acceptance.. And hurriedly let it go before rubbing it on her other hand just to ease for being clammy and cold..

She smiled over Percy and nods.. She's so proud over this student of hers.. A very responsible.. Colleen hopes that her students were like Percy.. And about Saeslin.. She never thought there will be another new teacher around focusing over engineering and stuffs. Her one brow rose upon looking at him..

Her eyes caught on his eyeglasses and even unconsciously notice about his blue eyes.. They were the same color as Severin, but her beloved professor where a little dark.. Not to mention again on the glasses paraphernalia.. She wanted to mentally facepalm herself.. She should fled and run for her life! Or maybe avoid this Saeslin..

Colleen should look for Severin now and drag him off to somewhere!

"...I will take you completely..

"This is the entrance to the school grounds," Sethrian said, leading his grandparents through the gate. "The dorms are across the grounds in that direction. There are stables in that direction. And as you can see, the school is just ahead of us."

"It's quite a large school isn't it?" Marla said, looking around.

"It is fairly large, yes," Sethrian said. "The student body is widely varied and we seem to have a high turn over rate."

"You said you're a prefect, yes?" Simeon said. "What sort of responsibilities do you have?"

"Mostly keeping the other students in line, and taking charge of classes when the instructor is late," Sethrian said. "It's an important responsiblity but not especially exciting."

"Are you happy here, Sethrian?" Marla asked, looking up at him worriedly. "It seems like a lovely place but you can always come home with us if you don't like it."

"I am...happy," Sethrian said. It was true that he was but, somehow, it was difficult to admit--almost frightening. He felt like admitting it meant something would inevitably happen to take that hard won happiness away.

Sethrian's face visibly brightened when he heard Renivere and he turned around, smiling. His grand parents just stared at him, a little shocked.

"He smiled," Simeon said quietly, leaning toward Marla. "He really smiled, did you see that? I thought he forgot how!"

Sethrian glanced over his shoulder, giving Simeon a pained look. "I can hear you," he said.

Simeon grinned slightly, straightening. "Ah, can you now? I'll have to be quieter next time." He was relieved. He was so relieved. This place was definitely good for Sethrian if the boy was smiling again. Marla squeezed Simeon's hand and stepped around Sethrian, smiling at Renivere.

"Who is this beautiful young woman?" she asked, poking Sethrian in the side. Of course it had to be Renivere. She fit the description Sethrian had given, exactly. And from the look on Sethrian's face, Marla couldn't imagine it to be anyone else. "Don't tell me this lovely creature is actually Renivere. As always, you understate everything--you said she was pretty, but she is beautiful!"

Sethrian's face went hot and he shuffled his feet awkwardly. "I...I know she is."

Oliver had wandered around a large portion of the school by himself, but he could not for the life of him find the infirmary. The man huffed and scratched his head, heading outside.

Upon seeing the various people inside he cleared his throat and approached Sethrian, "Excuse me. Could you please point me in the direction of the infirmary?"

The man wasn't hurt, but was instead, in search of his dear friend Keina. Oh his lovely Keina. This time he would certainly woo her and she would finally accept him!

Or so he thought anyway.....

Sethrian was a little startled when someone intruded into their small group to ask directions. It should have been obvious they were having a somewhat private moment but the man simply walked up anyway--and why Sethrian? Most people actually shied away from him due to his aura so it was a little weird for a stranger to just approach him like that anyway.

Sethrian pulled his attention away from his family for a moment, to level a bland look at the man and tell him, "It is down the main corridor and to the left. If you get lost, I am certain there are many people inside who can point you in the proper direction. I would take you there myself, but as you can see, I am occupied at the moment."

He turned back to the others, noting that Renivere had sidled along side Sethrian, hiding her face. He smiled slightly and heard his grandparents speaking to each other in soft Romanji. Instead, for the time being, he looked at Renivere's sister.

"I am Sethrian Terkynna. These are my grandparents Marla and Simeon."

"It's so nice to meet you both!" Marla said, interjecting as she peeked around Sethrian at Renivere. Oh goodness! She was so cute! "We've heard so much about you, Renivere. It's really wonderful to meet you. I have something I brought for you. I hope you don't mind..."
