Des Voh Cale Darksun The Mods have discussed the Mandalorian Question and we've decided this: Yes, the Mandies won't become an official faction until when they join the Sith. We screwed up on our dates and times and decided to return to Canon rather than go off the reservation on that aspect. So the Mandalorians are a fractured bunch of thugs right now. Once Mandalore the Lesser arrives on the scene, that changes of course. If anyone needs help with a Mandalorian type character, I've been tasked to provide that help and organization, just as Nelo handles republic themed characters. That would have been nice to hear a few months back when I was making mine and you were telling me otherwise. Well that was then and this is now. And the Mods have decided that we erred back then, though with how the Republic has treated the Mandalorians I don't see why any would jump at the chance to fight for the Republic.

I highly doubt your profile was rejected solely because of that detail. Either that, or you were really stubborn.
So if you didn't change your profile because of that, then just re-submit it and it should be accepted no questions, right?

Those with less strict honor may take republic credits if its good enough, but I cannot see the republic hirer them outside of bounty hunting and suicide merc missions.

I was being sarcastic. I'll bet there was a lot more wrong with the profile than just Des throwing a fit over "but i wanna be a good mando!"

The character was shunted for other reasons, he spent a considerable amount of time in evolving development and I just lost sight of who it was supposed to be anymore. Besides that fact that I didn't see it fitting too great.

The problem wasnt with being a 'good' mando, but with being a pawn of Mandalore the Lesser, whose a complete tool. I built with the presumption that the canoncy was still solid, and then Nelo started calling my character Dar Manda... Besides that, the character I built in the begining wasn't properly suited to this RP. So it was scrapped after the development went too far. Maybe in the future, I did rather like how the concept went.

Whatever happened, the character wasn't accepted. End of story. Policy on Mandos has changed and we acknowledge we screwed the pooch on the available information.
