As Mot started to explain, her face went redder and redder and redder... Until THUNK. Lizzy's forehead met the table in a rather painful sounding manner, her hat sliding off her head and onto the table.
"I'm fine," She muttered, more to herself than anyone else as she raised a hand to give a thumbs up before both limbs flopped to her side, "Move on, nothing to see here." She was not getting up anytime soon.

Mitsu waited patiently to see if anyone would reply her eyes first turning to Tess. "Ah, yes I would appreciate it. I can't have-" But suddenly Mot was handing her an eclair that he had cleaned the chocolate off of for her. "O-oh, thank you!" She smiled gratefully taking the now chocolate free eclair, completely clueless as to what was happening behind the scenes of this event. "Thank you for your offer." She added to Tess wanting to let the ghoul know she appreciated it.
Taking her first bite of the eclair, not minding that she was eating after someone, Mitsu turned to Lizzy as her head thunked with the table. "Ah! Lizzy!" She looked worriedly at the ghoul who gave a thumbs up saying she was okay.....if...she said so.

Eventually Joachim got a little less worried about stepping all over her toes as the song continued but luckily before he ended up passing out on the floor like a puddle of puke the song ended and was replaced by a funky upbeat tune.
He didn't allow her any time for her to say something about dancing to the next song, and allowing him to completely make a fool of himself with the most outrageous seizure dance like state known to students he looked around for the quickest way out. Not knowing really what he was supposed to in exiting the dance floor Joachim continued to hold Tayrn's hand to lead her back to the table considering it was the only place he remembered being at. He didn't consider the fact that the food they had was at this point cold and probably inedible but he still pulled out her chair for her to sit down finally letting go of her hand.

Both Shun and Jericho glanced over towards Mot as he whispered something into Lizzy's ears. Neither could hear but with her reaction, it had to be something rather embarrassing. If only they knew what it was the cowboy had offered to tell the girl.
"How is it?" asked Shun as he turned towards the wolf girl now that she was able to eat an eclair. He was incredibly thankful she was just eating it normally right now. Very thankful.
"... You ok there Lizzy?" asked Jericho.

Through the music she didn't understand, Levi's ears perked on condition; there was a familiar gruff voice behind her. This voice belonged to someone she knew... but who-? ... oh-
She remember.
She remembered just in time for her to swivel in her seat and place an arm up onto the back of her chair. Immediately at seeing the wrath demon, she let out a hiss that came from somewhere in her throat through a toothy grin.
West... wanna 'nother roughin' do ya?
At this point, the tatzel's tail came up and swayed a bit at the end suggestively. Wanna go?!
She had no idea this was the boil Holly'd been talking about.

The demon had been enjoying watching the others dance from the side lines, specially with Amrita. But now he felt that the dance floor was calling him and he couldn't just leave that floor hanging now could he? Of course not!
"Amrita... " He held out a hand to her, "Do you trust me?" One might be reminded of a certain Disney movie save the magic carpet but one might also be crazy to trust Charlie.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Mac said flatly. Something he needed to get away from desperately? NO WAY. There was nothing wrong with it. No no of course not. "That's the point of being on the dance floor, right?" The Reaper chuckled, letting her take her arm off of his (thankfully). He stared at her for a moment, though he was listening to the music...and then he looked down at her hands with a clear grimace. Well, The easiest way to dance was by holding hands, and he was hesitant to do that with a Demon ghoul he could barely recall.
"...Well alright." He murmured, leading her into a dance that matched the song pace, but didn't always involve hand holding; though if he had to, he did. There was no point in having this (obviously friend of Lizzy's) going back crying to her. That would ruin it more than it already was ruined.
----
Amrita looked at him with suspicion for a moment, in true with the Disney reference. Also in keeping with it, she nodded slowly and held out her hand to press it into Charlie's. "Yes...?"

Taryn was still in a dreamlike state as Joachim tugged her back to their table, but once her chair was pulled out again she couldn't help but stand a moment longer. She thought it must be rude.
"You... don't want to dance some more?" she asked, and in her defense not only to be close to the boil. She'd had fun out there, even if they had been somewhat outside the action, and while she had no idea how to dance to any music at all she was in that kind of mood. Their peers were just kind of flailing around, so why couldn't they? Of course, the end decision lay with her gentlemanly date, and if he so wished she would sit down.

The musica changed. It was some sort of boilband. Beat wasn't too bad but how would one even dance to this? Hopefully West wouldn't return and for some reason want to dance, she doubted that.
Well. Speak of the devil. "Nice of you to show yourself finally, West."
"No fighting tonight, both of ya." Wait. Wait. Holly knew the two had met some how before. West never mentioned how but Levi just mentioned a fight. She thought back to her last meeting with Levi, who'd mentioned fighting someone. Still sitting down, the ghoul looked up at West then to Levi. "You fought him. Is he the one with wings?" She looked back at West. "Since when did you have wings?" Most odd prom ever.

And Charlie spun Amrita in to his arms and held her there for a moment before carrying her to the dance floor.
"CHECK IT OUT AMRITA! YOUR FLYING!" She really wasn't. Charlie was just carrying her. He set her down though when they reached Mac.
"HEY MAC CHECK IT OUT IM CLASSY!" Charlie had taken Amritas hands again and began to lead her in another nameless dance that matched the tune of the song.

Vaith was stuck alone with Marzena, alarmingly so. Whatw as he supposed to do with another ghoul? He stared around, shaking his head. He felt like his body had finally cooled down to a tolerable point, one finger trailing down his neck to loosen his collar a bit more.
"So .. Uh .. Marzena. Can I get you anything? Did you have a date?" Vaith asked, the second question wasn't meant as a way to get rid of the girl and hand her off to her date--- But everybody had dates. So Vaith figured, it was a polite prom-like question to ask.

West growled low under his breath, but didn't move. As much as he wanted to tie her tail to the table and commence punching, he dimly recalled that no one was supposed to fight at the prom. A few more seconds went by and he grinned back instead, remembering the tatzel's bizarre hoedown from earlier.
"Maybe y'can jus' dance fer me instead. Y'do it so much better than I ever could." For a moment he was worried she might have seen his attempt in the dance off, but he quickly decided he didn't care. Her dance had been far stupider than his ever could be. Right?
"Dun worry Holly. I'm not gonna waste m'time." At the mention of his wings, West's eyes widened a fraction in surprise. "I... um... yeah. They run offa FEAR. I dun use 'em in fights 'less people cheat." His tone was completely monotonous and dripping with sarcasm.

Prom.
As a concept, it was trivial.
As a reality, it was horrifying.
Ghosts. Reapers. Even demons. Things which Andeon neither knew nor cared for dressed up in clothes he found both distasteful and garish. He hadn't bothered to dress for the event, preferring his scarred and dented battle regalia to anything the world around him had to offer. There was pride in every scratch, a story in every knick, and a thick air of disdain in the way he had unceremoniously crammed the skull pin into one deep dent. Every footstep fell with the dull clang of thick armor plating, the soft scraaaaaape of metal on metal. The crystals that dangled from his arm chimed softly, far more beautiful to his senses that the loud music and raucous laughter.
Milky eyes scanned the room, and had he any lips, the mindflayer would have been sneering.
Children. Pawns. Scum.
Any number of words could have been used to describe the crowd around him, but the most vile of all was saved for the illithid – did she even deserve to be called that anymore? - in the black dress. Aen'ryliis sat at her table like a princess among paupers. It was impossible to tell what about her made Andeon's hands curl into tight fists, what made his brow furrow almost imperceptibly. It could have been the revealing dress or the way she brushed the tentacles over her shoulder. It could have been the smiling faces that surrounded her, as though there were nothing at all wrong in the world. Or the way she radiated happiness in an aura so thick he could practically taste it.
Oh yes, the worst of his labels had been reserved just for her: traitor.
Aen'ryliis, he spoke up suddenly, placing the thought directly into her mind with the force that only a mindflayer could manage. It was a private thought, as Andeon did not suffer speaking to anyone else just yet. He wove his way through the dancing figures with surprising dexterity, stopping several feet short of the table. He looked at the table as though he didn't want to get too close.
They might infect him with stupid.
He looked down at her with an arched brow, eye softly glowing.
And here I thought you had been put into the body of a drow, not a whore. I suppose even my brilliant intellect is wrong on occasion.
Did the tits come with the outfit, or did you have to buy those separately?

"Of course you don't." She agreed pleasantly, deciding that she wouldn't push for more information. Not while Mac was in such a tolerable mood, at least. In hindsight, asking to dance was Mac was a little awkward, but the Baku was still enjoying herself. Xiu was definitely happy that she had taken those dance lessons now.
The only problem was that she wasn't sure whether she should remain silent, or try to chat with the reaper. The strongest memory she had of the first time Lizzy introduced her to Mac was...well, it was obviously when he pushed her into the pool. That, and how hard it had been to resist grabbing one of the pool noodles and going after him with it.
Those didn't seem like the ideal topics to bring up if she wanted to stay on his good side.
Fortunately, Charlie whisked Amrita onto the dance floor right beside them, and Xiu visibly relaxed, a big grin spreading over her face. Unable to help herself, she laughed and waved at the pair mid-dance. "Looking good, you two!" She complimented, nodding her head approvingly, "Very classy indeed!" Amrita she had had met countless times before, including at the dance class, but Xiu never got much of a chance to see Charlie. Noting that they made an adorable dance pair, she reminded herself to get a few more pictures later while she could.

The lupine had quietly been enjoying her eclair letting the music that filtered through the room calm and sooth her for the time being. Over all she was much more calm than she had been all night but it was hard to say whether or not that was destined to change.
The scraping of metal was what first caught the attention of her sensitive ears, her head turning to figure out where the sound was originating from. When she finally saw what it was her crimson eyes widened a little. It was another mindflayer...a male mindflayer....hadn't Jericho warned her about another mindflayer back at open house? As of yet, this was the first time she was seeing him and she had to wonder what was going to happen.
Setting her eclair down Mitsu reached a hand over and took hold of Shun's sleeve without thinking. There wasn't much of a clue to what she was thinking but her eyes were glued to the situation in front of her having no idea of the private conversation that was being had.
